Chapter 1: Soul wear x Lord

[Magnus Empire, Year 2321 of Age 11]

Inside of an old wooden house a young boy sat on a bed digesting the memories flooding into his mind.

From the memories he had just accepted he understood that this body is 12 years old and is himself from a parallel world that had just passed away.

His current name is [Arthur Augustus SacredClaw] a strong name for a son of a normal family, he was named like this by his parents of this life in hopes that he can become a noble.

Originally he was a famous historian in his last life with a specialization on ancient empires and their benefits and failings.

Unfortunately one day he was killed by a gold brick that fell from the sky smashing his head into pieces.

As it turns out, a certain god of wealth was gambling with a few other gods in the divine realm and ended up dropping that gold brick by accident causing Arthurs death.

Because of an ancient treaty between the gods they are not allowed to directly interfere with mortals and their development.

When Arthur died that wealth god violated the treaty and had to give compensation to those affected, after compensation they have to be sent away to prevent them altering the normal development process of humanity.

Because of the accidental death the god of wealth took Arthurs soul and sent it to another parallel world along with his form of compensation before going back and continuing his game, thus forming the current situation.

Arthur smiled a bit wryly after finding out he died because a god happened to drop his gambling money.

After fully understanding his cause of death he checked his memory for the reason of death, luckily it is nothing that will affect him now.

The him in this world died of depression after finding out that his parents passed away in an accident while transporting goods in a landslide.

Arthur finished digesting his memory and then started checking the compensation of that god of wealth.

The god before sending him away checked his background and gave Arthur a system as compensation casually, luckily for Arthur that god did not realize how powerful this system was before sending it to him.

Arthur was shocked looking at this system, the capabilities are simply endless.

Arthur started looking at the different things you can buy and started clicking his tongue in amazement looking at some of the expensive stuff like genetic medicine.

That stuff extends your life span but it starts at 10's of thousands of gold which is out of his reach for quite a while.

Luckily for Arthur he has the 1000 gold or he would probably have difficulty even getting started let alone get a lord order.

To buy the lowest level lord order you have to spend 1000 gold and that order also has a fixed fief that you get strict regulations on.

Arthur was given a pioneering lord order, this means his territory is completely undeveloped but he can expand freely and raise as many troops as he wants.

Although many old nobles even barons don't wanna give up the stable territory they inherited as it is quite a lot of effort to bring a territory up and running, the pioneering territory order is heavily restricted in who is allowed to obtain it because of the right to have unrestricted troop training.

After browsing for a while Arthur chose what he wanted to buy to get him ready for going to his viscounts fief.

After looking over his list Arthur clicked purchase.

Luckily the system has an infinite storage space so the materials didn't go flying everywhere.

After changing into the suit Arthur waited for his guards and servants to appear.

Because he is in a town right now it would be bad to see a carriage suddenly appear on the street so Arthur had his group enter the town from the gates from outside the town.

Over at the gate the guards who were dozing off suddenly saw a expensive looking carriage with powerful guards and straightened up.

The guards didn't wanna offend the noble master otherwise they wouldn't get any help as they don't have any strong background.

After about 10 minutes carriage wheels could be heard approaching.

Stepping out of the house dressed up in new clothes Arthur looked at the individual's who would be with him a lot from now on while they introduced themselves.

An old man came out and bowed gracefully with an aristocratic temperament.

"Greetings young master, I am the butler and housekeeper Jarvis."

A young and lively girl came up and curtsied,
"Greetings young master, I am your personal maid Lily."

Finally an imposing looking middle aged man in plate armor with a large scar on his left eye knelt down and greeted him, "Greetings young master, I am the chief guard Ivan."

After letting everyone get up Arthur laid down in his carriage and everyone set off to his fief.
