Levi's Point Of View
"Another game?" Erwin asked, eager to win.
"I'm getting tired of kicking your ass, eyebrows." I replied flatly. I nicknamed my best friend 'eyebrows' because he had bushy eyebrows. They were big and didn't fit his face. Still, he looked good.
"C'mon....?" He pleaded.
I sighed. "Fine, but you're finding my next victim. And buying my drink." I gave in.
"Good!" Erwin lost yet another game. "My name is ErWIN not ErLOSE." He grumbled.
"Find someone to play with me." I ordered.
A minute later, Erwin came back with a young guy. He was a brunette and had big, green eyes. He was kind of adorable. "This is Eren. He will play against you."
"H-hey!" The boy managed words out of his mouth after looking at me in admiration.
"I'm Levi Ackerman." I say. "I am a pool champion, keep that in mind. I've never lost a game since I was 6 years old, so don't feel bad when you lose." I warned.
"O-okay. That's fine, I just wanna have some fun. Plus the blonde guy gave me $20." I scratched the back of my neck. "I've...never actually played. C-can you teach me?"
I looked at him, looked at the ground and sighed. I didn't want the distraction right now, however he is quite cute. I think he is giving me puppy dog eyes, too...he clearly wants that $20. Why does he care so much? Obviously he needs it for something, and I would feel bad playing against someone who doesn't know the basic techniques. I looked back up at him. "I'll teach you..." I said. "...you owe me, though."
"Thank you!" Eren's face lit up.
I walked over to Eren and grabbed his hands. I grabbed a pool stick and put it in his hands, then arranged them to where he could shoot.
"U-uhm..." Eren blushed.
"Shoot."
"H-how?"
I took the stick from him, and shot pool, making 3 striped balls in. "I got big balls."
Eren blushed. "T-TMI!" He covered his face.
"I meant I have the balls with the highest numbers, so we call it big balls. Little balls are the lower numbers, or solid ones." I explained, shaking my head at his dirty mind. "Now do as I did." I ordered. "Try to hit the solid balls, and you have to hit the cue ball."
Eren grabbed the stick and tried to remember how he was positioned. I went up behind him, and guided his hands. I helped him shoot the ball. Eren was a nervous wreck for some reason. He's acting like a lovesick anime girl. "Now you see those diamonds on the sides of the table?" I asked, and Eren nodded. "Those are to help guide your angled shots. For example," I took the stick and walked over to the cueball. I shot the ball into the middle pocket from a weird angle. "Making shots like that could be difficult without them." I explained to him. "The goal of the game is to get all your balls in the pockets without hitting the 8 ball in. Only hit the 8 ball in after all your balls are knocked in, otherwise the game is over and you lose." I told him.
"Thank you for telling me this..."
I grabbed a cigarette from my pocket, and lit it up. I smoked as I watched Eren attempt at practicing. He wasn't that bad but it was kind of sad. Finally, after 25 minutes, he made one in. "Good shot." I said.
"Thank you!" His face lit up. He acted as if he won the Olympics by making a single shot. For some reason, I found it cute...
"It's not a problem." I said. "Would you like further lessons? Like, at my place?"
