"Go on, they've been waiting for you."

PANDORA WAS LED outside the Hall of Justice to an upgraded version of a carriage. Next to the vehicle stood Estella and Niklaus, who were waiting for her in silence.

The three got into the carriage and they headed to the train station. Estella, who was a very talkative person, started to tell them about the famous Capitol treatment that was awaiting. The woman's smile made Pandora's blood boil, since she talked about this experience like it was a privilege. She didn't seem to understand how stressed and nervous the two tributes were.

When they got to the train, she saw a bunch of people waiting for them. Pandora stepped out of the 'carriage' and sensed all the eyes on her. She felt like she was the main character in a tragic novel.

The young girl and her brother were shown to the fancy train by Estella. She welcomed them in a room full of food, sweets and drinks. In that car was a four-person table with fancy place settings and four armchairs that looked extremely comfortable. Even the ceiling was fancy, it had a diamond chandelier that lit the whole room.

The escort invited the tributes to sit down in one of the chairs and started talking again. " 200 miles per hour and you can't feel a thing. Isn't it amazing? It's a newly designed train, the latest model.". She stopped to analyze the looks on their faces, which remained the same since they were reaped.

"I think it's a wonderful thing that you have this opportunity. Even if it is for a short time, you two get to enjoy all of this and more. You'll see what I mean when we arrive at the Capitol." she continued with the same smile she wore the whole day.

Niklaus was looking at the escort while she was talking, out of respect, even if he wasn't listening, but Pandora couldn't care less about politeness. She wasn't interested in listening to anything the woman had to say, and most definitely she didn't want to be consoled.

When Estella finally shut up, the boy turned his head to his sister to see how she was holding up. The escort took it as a sign to leave them alone to be able to talk freely, so she made her way out of the room, telling them where to find her if they needed anything.

Once the siblings were alone, Niklaus spoke "How're you doing, little one?".

"Never been better, big guy. How 'bout you?" she responded, still looking out the window.

"I'm serious. Are you okay?" he repeated his question.

"Do you really have to ask? I've just said goodbye to my brother, knowing I'll never see him again.".

"You will." he spoke, sounding confident, and that bothered his sister.

"Really, when? In heaven?" the girl responded, annoyed.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure you'll see him again." he said with the same confident tone, as if he had everything under control.

"Yeah, really? And how will you do that? Kill everybody in that arena and then yourself at the end? Because that's the only way I'll ever see Nate again." She stopped for a second to catch her breath. Her eyes were slowly filling up with tears, even if every inch of her body was resisting. "I don't even know how to hold a sword." she admitted.
