Sonic the Hedgehog: Protagonist of the story; A depressed student who is worried by his old friends and Sally's current boyfriend

Amy Rose: A cheerful student, very close friend of Sonic since Kindergarden and worries about his depression; bullied by Sally

Miles 'Tails' Prower: A smart and kind student, Sonic's best friend; secretly has a crush on Cream

Knuckles the Echidna: A strong but short-tempered student, one of Sonic and Amy's friends; sometimes irritated by Rouge's flirts, but secretly has a crush on her

Cream the Rabbit: A polite and kind student, Amy's best friend; secretly has a crush on Tails

Blaze the Cat: A serious but nice student, one of Sonic and Amy's friends; secretly has a crush on Silver

Rouge the Bat: A nice student, one of Sonic and Amy's friends; flirts with Knuckles but doesn't know about his crush on her

Sonia the Hedgehog: A student and middle triplet sister of Sonic and Manic

Manic the Hedgehog: A student and youngest triplet brother of Sonic and Sonia

Sally Acorn: A popular student who is Sonic's current girlfriend and also bullies Amy

Fiona the Fox: A student and Scourge's girlfriend who sometimes seduces other boys
