A few weeks have passed since Sonic reconciled with his family, all of his old friends..... and restored his friendship with Amy and his promise to her. However, after both Sonic and Amy reconciled and restored their friendship, they suddenly realized and found their long-lost love for each other that they developed when they were little. And now, Sonic and Amy have not just become friends again, but they've become a love couple and started dating, and whenever they came together, they always felt their true love for each other burn bright.
Right now, it was the middle of March, and things have gone way better for Sonic. Now, he's no longer filled with depression, but he's now filled with happiness, joy, and most of all, his sadness is now replaced by true love for his new pink girlfriend, Amy. Now that he's no longer a couple with Sally after discovering her secrets, he's found his lost feelings of love for Amy, and he's very happy about it. At the moment, Sonic, no longer wearing a mask now, and Amy are both walking towards the school, hand-in-hand.
It wasn't long before one of Sonic and Amy's friends, Tails, noticed them holding hands.
"Hey, Sonic." said Tails, "You seem more happy with Amy for the past few weeks since the day after Valentine's Day."
"Of course I'm more happy with Ames, Tails." Sonic responded, and Tails got a bit confused when he said 'Ames', while refering to Amy, then he aske, "Wait, 'Ames'? Why did you call Amy that?"
"Tails, Sonikku and I had the most heart-touching moment on the night after Valentne's Day." said Amy, "After I forgave Sonic, and after we reconciled and restored our friendship...... we both discovered our lost love for each other."
"And because of that..." Sonic followed what Amy's saying to Tails, "Ames is now my new girlfriend, and I'm now her boyfriend. And we've been dating for the past few weeks up to this point."
Tails could've sworn he felt his jaw drop to the floor when he heard what Sonic and Amy told him just now, and he was so stunned in shock, with his eyes wide open, that he barely spoke a word. Even though he was speechless, all he could say was, "Oh...... my..... gosh....."
And this reaction made Sonic and Amy chuckle a bit, and that's when all the rest of Sonic and Amy's friends came up, including Technoblade and Nate, and even Sonia and Manic.
"Hey, guys." said Nebula, then she noticed Sonic and Amy's hands connected, "Well, seems like you two have finally rekindled your friendship."
"Not just that, Nebula." Amy replied, "But Sonikku and I are now dating."
"What?!" exclaimed all of Sonic and Amy's friends, minus Nate, Sonia and Manic because they already know about it.
"You guys are boyfriend and girlfriend!?" Silver asked, "That's awesome!!"
"That's so amazing, you two!" said Cream, then Sonic said, "We know, Cream. However, if Sally does find out about this, she can do whatever to take me back, but she'll never destroy my true love for Ames.~"
"Aww.....~" said the others when Sonic said this, then Rouge said, "That's really sweet."
"Yeah, it is." said Wendy, then Nate suddenly said, "True dat. But come on, let's get to our classes."
And from there, the group got into the building, and split up to get to their respective classes.
The day went by until they got to 6th period, swimming. And right now, the students there are dressed in in their swimwear, and Sonic and Amy, who are also wearing swim goggles on their foreheads, were standing next to each other, and they blushed in love when they looked at each other.
