Scream VII (Short Story)

Chapter Three: The Final Attack

They rushed towards Yuleyvi. " what happened?!" They all exclaimed. Eddie went to the kitchen to get some paper towels for Yuleyvi. Lizeth came running from the bathroom and yelled, " RUN!!" They all started to run towards the opposite direction. Leslie looks back and it's the killer holding a blood drenched knife with a curved tip. They all scattered around the house. Julieth unfortunately got caught when she tripped on a step going up the stairs. She fell down and landed on a night stand where a vase with flowers were. She grabbed the vase and as the killer was approaching her, she threw the vase but barely missed its face. The vase graced against the killers mask making the mask move a little. The killer then stabbed Julieth in the stomach and Julieth grasped for air. Julieth then notices Eddie behind the killer with two items in his hands. Julieth then screams as the killer still has the knife in her stomach. Julieth then realizes she has her vape in her pocket and pulls it out and with her last breath she shoved the vape in the hole in the killers mask which had been made by the vase that Julieth threw to the killer. The killer then stumbled back and removed the vape from their face. Eddie then makes a noise which makes the killer turn around in a alarming way. Eddie then sprays the liquid and turns on the lighter at the same time. Massive flames engulf the killer and the room starts to turn Red-Orange. Eddie stops and runs towards the kitchen. The killer is screaming In agony as they crawl on the floor. The other part of the group then quickly comes out of their hiding spot and they all gasp as they see the flames engulf the living room. Leslie then guides the group outside but then the killer gets up and grabs Eddie from the legs making him fall down. The burnt and wasted killer then grabs the knife next to Julieth. The killer then places the knife next to Eddie's throat. Leslie was currently the only one in the house and she was right  in-front of them. Leslie then slowly throws her bag outside of the doorstep where Joceline was. Joceline then notices how Leslie pointed at her bag. Joceline was searching in her bag, confused but then she notices the taser in the bag. Joceline quickly throws the taser to Leslie and she puts her arm up and activated the taser. Eddie grabs the knife and ducks down. The killer gets tased and finally stumbled on the floor. All you can hear are the flames of the fire and the sound of the police sirens and fire trucks a few streets down. Leslie and Eddie walk out through the door as the others are outside sitting down on the sidewalk. Eddie looks back at the house. The house was fully engulfed in red flames. Eddie then notices that there has not been an explosion yet. He then tells everyone to duck and cover because the boiler room was in the house. The house suddenly lets out a roaring explosion which broke all the windows from the next door houses. Lizeth woke up and noticed everyone was unconscious on the street because of the explosion. She then notices her phone a few feet away from her. She grabs her phone. When she looks up she notices the ambulances and firefighters have arrived. The first responders quickly get everyone in an ambulance. As Liz gets on an ambulance, on a bed she feels a buzzing noise come from her head. She pulls her phone out of the pillow and looks at her phone. Being scared to answer it she thought to herself, *no I'm not going to answer it* So as she was directing her finger to hang up, the phone answers by itself. Liz was shocked and confused; she put her phone on her ear. " you never answered my question..." the voice said on the other line. " who are you what do you want. Leave me alone" she said in despair. " what is..your favorite scary movie"

Liz's eyes lightened up and she dropped her phone. She covered her mouth in lost of all hope. She starts crying as the ambulance drives away from the murder scene.
