Prologue

~Lily's POV~

Time ~ 5:25 pm

I wonder where I'm at... I was just in the forest behind my house a second ago. I look around.   Oh, I'm at my town's park. There are so many children around here. I wonder why he brought me here... I thought to myself.  Watch out, there's someone running up from behind you. He said in my mind. Huh, what does he mean by that... I wondered.

"Watch out!" a blonde girl with blue eyes yelled out as a friend of the girl started to come closer in view. Then just as I turned around to see what was going on, bam! A black-haired girl with red eyes crashed into me. Oh, that's why. I thought as I got up. Thanks for the warning, sir. I thanked him telepathically as he left me alone, thus walking back into the forest.

"Ow! Why didn't you move you idiot!" The girl who bumped into me yelled.

"I'm so sorry my friend bumped into you!" Alicia said hurriedly as she helped her friend up. "It's ok," I replied. "Really!?" Alicia asked. "Yeah, it was only an accident," I replied. "Hey, do you have any friends? I noticed you're not really playing with anyone," Alicia said. "No, not really," I said in a nervous tone. "No wonder you're all alone, you have no friends. I was wondering why everyone avoided you," Angel retorted. "Angel! Be nice! Don't say things like that! Sorry about what my friend said to you." Alicia said. "My name's Alicia, and this is Angel. Do you want to be friends with us?" Alicia asked earnestly with a big smile on her face. "S-sure," I said nervously, not knowing if I could refuse. "My name is L-lily," I said out of awkwardness.

We spent the rest of the hour getting to know one another. Turns out Angel really was just rude to everyone in general, and Alicia was the one who always apologized for Angel's actions.

It was in the afternoon when I was going home. "What's wrong with her?" Angel asked. "No-nothing, I just wanted to stay here, yes. It's just that everything's so nice," I replied; hoping they didn't notice I was nervous. "Yeah, parks are like that," Angel said. "All right, well bye!" Angel said while walking away from the group and heading back toward her house.

"Hey! Wait up Angel!" Alicia shouted while running after Alicia.

I watched as I saw them leave the playground for their houses down the street 3 blocks away. Well, I guess it's time to go home. I thought as I went to walk through the forest path three miles away from my backyard.

Time ~ 7:00 pm

I was on my way walking back home when suddenly my head started buzzing. "Oh, your back," I said as he got closer. Did you enjoy the park? He asked me telepathically. "Yea, I loved it! I made two new friends," I said aloud since no one was around.

Suddenly he appeared right next to me, and the buzzing was minimized. That's nice. He said in my mind with what looked like a smile showing on his faceless face. I thought you'd like to escape the house for a bit. He thought to me.

We kept walking until we stopped at Liam's house. Liam's house was a very abusive household. We were here to steal him away. Slenderman brought me here to lure Liam away from his house with my angelic look.

You know what to do. He said to me in thought. "Yes sir," I replied. This wasn't the first time we stole children from an abusive household so that we could use them as proxies. However, there have been a few occasions where the child has killed his or her parents on their own by manipulation from him.

Such as this case, Liam had already killed both his parents and was down to his little sister, who had called the police already as soon as she saw the dead bodies. I watched the little sister scream and wriggle around trying to escape from her brother's grasp.
