15 years later
Time ~ 6:15 am
~Lily's POV~
"Wake up!" my mother yelled from outside the bedroom door as I started to get ready. Ok, so today I'm finally moving out. This is exciting, right sir? I thought calmly. Of course, you can finally put your skills to use. He replied. I got ready to leave; but then just as I finished packing, I remembered something. I had only two friends, but they were from my childhood. I have to say goodbye to my friends first. I communicated telepathically to him while looking into the tree line behind my backyard; staring at his figure below. Fine, just hurry up. He replied to me telepathically while looking up at my window.
Time ~ 6:45 am
All right, I'm done packing. All I need to do is stop by my friend's house. I sighed. You remember you are staying at Liam's house, right? He asked me. Yes, I remember. I said telepathically. I grabbed my suitcase and left my bedroom door open, walking out of the room like I had good times to remember. Suddenly my sister bumped into me. "Hey! What was that for!?" my older sister yelled. "Why didn't you go around idiot? You see me standing here," I replied to her rudely. "Ugh, whatever. Just watch where you stand," my sister said. Then she left quickly.
Time ~ 7:25 am (At Alicia's House)
~Angel's POV~
"Come on Angel! Lily's Leaving town today! We've got to catch her before she leaves!" Alicia shouted from upstairs as I started making my way upstairs to help Alicia prepare for today. "I'm coming!" I yelled while coming upstairs. I walked into Alicia's room to find a massive mess. "Woah, what the hell is going on?" I asked her; looking at her in the center of the room surrounded by the mess. She looked like she was nervous about what I might say next, so I went easy on her. "I think I kind of went a little overboard on her departure from us," Alicia said in an awkward voice. "You think? Girl, this is more than a little overboard," I said. A bit of a sassy attitude welling its way into my throat. How can she create a mess this big? Then again, it's Alicia we're talking about. Almost anything is possible with her. I thought silently while wondering what to do next.
"Let's just go, we'll clean this up later," I said looking around the mess one more time before landing my gaze on my best friend. "Come on, let's just go to the place we said we were going to meet up with her," I said rationally. "You mean that old pizzeria that got shut down because of that robot incident?" Alicia asked nervously. "Yeah?" I answered, not sure what to make of the situation. I extended a handout to help her cross the mess she made. We went down the stairs and crossed the kitchen, to which Alicia remembered at the last minute she hadn't eaten. So, I made something for her quickly. "Now can we go?" I asked her as she was finishing her meal. "Sure," she replied as she ate the last bite and put her dish in the sink. We exited the kitchen and got into the car I just bought about a month ago. Then, we were on our way to the broken-down pizzeria.
Time ~ 7:35 am (at the Abandoned Pizzaria)
~Alicia POV~
"Oh god, we made it on time. I thought she was going to leave us behind." I said exaggerating a bit too much. "Oh, calm down will you, Alicia?" Angel retorted to me. She was clearly bothered by my attempts at over-exaggeration. "Oh, come on you guys you know the reason I'm leaving this town behind," Lily said to us, trying to convince us it was for the best. "Look, I'll be fine. Plus, I have a roommate. So, if anything happens there'll be someone who can look after me," Lily said finally convincing us she was going to be fine.
