It's all been set, all been planned out for the past several weeks now.

A group of UA students rush around the common area hanging up brightly colored balloons and decorations.

There's a large strawberry shortcake with whipped cream icing and a number eighteen candle right in the center.

Music plays and laughter can be heard as the students and friends of a brash blonde hero rush around and finish up the last details.

All Katsuki's favorite foods are there, spicy curry, spicy chips of all different flavors, even a spiced chocolate ice cream.

The blonde hero turns eighteen today and the students decided to throw him a party now that things had settled down a bit, hoping it might cheer him up.

But as Kirishima, his best friend fills a couple green balloons with helium he has his doubts.

Katsuki has not been the same since Deku left school on a vigilantly rampage without a trace.

That blonde bomb even tho he's tried to hide it has been upset to his core at the absence. He's gone searching for Izuku almost every single day since he's been gone and today on his birthday is no different.

Rose red eyes shift outside seeing the now darkening sky knowing Katsuki is still out there even as it begins to rain. He sighs as Denki walks up helping him.

" Hey bro. Think he'll be back soon?"

The redhead smiles as he ties a balloon off.

" I'm not sure man. You know he goes looking every day after school, or patrol. He hasn't missed a day since Izu took off."

Denki frowns

" I miss Mido, I wish he'd come home."

Kirishima's eyes turn to sadness.

" Yeah bro, me too, me too. I wish he'd come home for Bakubro the most though, he hasn't been the same in almost two years."

The electric hero sighs glancing out the window at the rain.

" I know. Think he'll be in an ok mood today?"

The redhead laughs slightly.

" Doubtful, it is Bakubro after all."

Suddenly a bubbly pink girl and a dark haired male come sliding up to the two breathless from racing across the room from their watch post.

" He's here! Shut the lights out and get down before he comes through the doors!", Sero yells.

" Yeah! And make sure you yell surprise for bakubabe!", Mina giggles as she grabs the hands of her friends rushing to hide behind the sofa.

Todoroki is standing in front of the couch, casually eating a bowl of soba.

Denki furrows his brow whisper shouting to the clueless male.

" Todo! Bro! Get back here with us, your supposed to be hiding."

Bicolored eyes look puzzled at the yellow eyed hero.

" Why? Don't we want him to know we're here? Seems kinda silly to have a party alone."

Mina giggles at the clueless hero reaching over the couch grabbing his hand.

" Silly Todo, we're going to surprise him when he comes through the door."

Todoroki nods even though he doesn't quite understand this surprise party nonsense.

Green and orange sneakers now wet with rain water make their way to the front doors of the UA dorms. A black hood of a hooded sweatshirt is up over blonde spikes as he grips the door and opens it harshly.
