Loid
Tracking Yor's location would allow me to know when she would come home or any suspicious activity. That's why there's a built in tracker on Yor's ring. Did she somehow fine out? Is that why she decide to get rid of it?
Loid, you're being paranoid.
There's no way Yor would know. The ring was custom made weeks in advance by the spy agency— Westalia Intelligence Services' Eastern-Focused Division (WISE).
On the surface, the ring looks very stylish. Very chic. Very luxurious. You can not tell that the ring has been manipulated in any sort of way with the naked eye.
I shouldn't need to worry about the pawn shop suspecting that something off with the ring. Under the microscope, it just looks like any expensive ring.
Their team of engineers designed it in meticulous way that not even a microscope can pick up the tracker.
It took them months to manufacture the perfect ring. After a lot of trial and testing, the ring was precisely ready. It was one of a kind. If the agency found out I losted it, they would probably lose their minds.
And now it was sitting at a pawn shop on the window display staring back at me.

I got the ring back but now my head was throbbing again. Anya was slowly driving me crazy.
We've been going on about this math problem for hours now, and my patience is wearing thin. I pose the question again, "What is 3 times 7?"
Anya quickly responds. "21."
Okay, good she's getting the hang of it. "Good job, Anya. Now, what about 7 x 3?"
Anya looks confused and responds with a blank stare, "I don't know."
I feel my left eye twitch. When I ask her the reverse question, why doesn't it click for her?
My head is going to explode. I feels the frustration building within me. I can feel my voice rising in frustration as I try to maintain my composure, but I can feel myself on the brink of losing my cool. "We've gone over this already. What part don't you understand?"
Anya's eyes start to fill with tears as she sobs.
I immediately regrets my harsh tone and reach out to comfort her. I knows that patience is key, especially when it comes to teaching a child but I can't help but feel frustrated.
It's been hours, and we've only made it through a handful of problems. Anya seems to understand one concept, but then struggles with the next. It feels like we're going in circles, making no progress.
Yor's comforting hand lands on my shoulder, and she smiles warmly. "Why don't you take a break and let me take over, Loid? You must be exhausted."
With a heavy sigh, I nod in agreement and rise from my seat. I pats Anya's head, comforting her. I wipe her tears away with my hand. "I'm sorry for raising my voice at you."
Anya wraps her arms my legs, with a sad smile. "It's okay Papa. Papa had a long day."
I smile at Anya, touched by her kindness and understanding. "Indeed, I did."
She let's go of his leg and continues doing her homework. And I head for a shower.

As the warm water hits my skin, I let out a sigh of contentment. It's been a long day, and teaching Anya has been more difficult than I expected.
