Enje
I wake up in panic, cursing up a storm and fighting everything I feel.
"Damn it! Get him to stay still!!" An unknown male voice shouts out, and I open my eyes to find myself facing a bright-white lighted ceiling.
Hands grabs my limbs, and I turn my eyesight to the people around me, coated in white coats and geared up with weird, unrecognizable instruments.
I bare my teeth angrily, struggling within their grasps, managing to get my leg free. I kick away a few people, and they crash into some weird metal tables, the objects clattering to the ground, followed by the fellows I just kicked.
I twist around in the rest of their grasps, baring my teeth again. A sign of a challenge. One of the new things that came about after the world ended.
I spring to my feet, breathing heavily, facing off the last four of them.
A woman and three men.
"Ah, crap. There's always one." One of the men sighs as I take a running start, before jumping over them, and off the... bed.
Damn it. They got me. And probably the others.
I need to find them. Kild. Gerald. Kylis. Shit, shit, shit. I slide through the somewhat open door, my eyes taking in the white, sterile halls.
I get to the end of the hall, looking behind me for a second. The four have managed to get though the doorway, and the first man widens his eyes when he sees I'm already at the end of the hall.
Ha!
He curses again and pushes something on the wall besides him, and instantly, an alarm starts blaring throughout the... building.
I widen my eyes, and turn left, dashing past doors upon doors upon doors. I come upon a wide open area, breathing heavily, and huff angrily.
A large of group of people dressed exactly the same way as the people I am running from are milling about, and for a few frozen seconds, we just stare at each other.
And then I'm running down a different hall, my heart beating wildly in my chest.
Damn it, damn it, damn it!
The alarm continues to go off, blasting my eardrums away. I glance behind me, and groan at the amount of "unwanted" chasing after me, cursing up a storm and shouting for me to stop.
And then, I run into something. Something large, strong, and definitely blocking my way.
I turn my head back, and crane it up to see a large face peering back down at me. He sighs, rubbing the back of his neck. He glances past me, and I follow his gaze to see the people behind have stopped a couple feet away.
