One Shot 2: April... FOOLS!

     A/N: I believe in Security Breach Part 1, Freddy mentioned Y/N going into the vents to play an April Fools Day prank on Monty. Well, this one shot elaborates on that prank, so happy reading!

     Sun and I giggled quietly as we watched Freddy enter the daycare. I'd stayed overnight specifically for this purpose. I couldn't mess it up.

     "Y/N?" he called. That was my que. I ran out onto the "balcony" where Freddy could see me, and waved.

     "Hey, Freddy!"

     Even from high up, I could see the surprise in Freddy's eyes.

     "S-Superstar! What are you doing up there?!" he exclaimed.

     "I'm playing with Sun!" I answered happily. It technically wasn't a lie...

     The panic in Freddy's voice only increased, "Y/N, you must get down! You could fall and hurt yourself!"

     I playfully rolled my eyes, carefully placing my feet as I approached the edge, "What are you talking about?" I was at the edge, and I glanced down, "This is the safest thing..." I stepped off, "EVERRRRR!!!"

     "Y/N!" I heard Freddy shout.

     Although, I was much to busy falling to focus on him. I squeezed my eyes shut, and just moments before I would've hit the ball pit, I zipped up!

     "WOOO!"

     I straightened my body, and held my arms out like an airplane like Sun told me to. And I flew! No- I soared!

     I giggled with delight like a little kid, and went in a fast circle, then managed to turn onto my side. I went around in spirals as I neared the ground, and several "wees!" and "yeahs!" later, I was close enough to the ground that my feet could reach the ground. I brought one foot down and did a quick twirl before turning to Freddy.

     Bowing, I waited for Sun before we both announced, "April Fools!"

     Freddy's expression looked horrified and shocked, but a few seconds later it melted away and he walked up to me.

     He placed his hands on his hips and said, "You, little Miss Y/N, are in big trouble."

     I let out a sigh of relief. His teasing meant he wasn't scarred for life!

     I laughed and went along with the joke, "Oh no! Whatever shall I do?" I looked around hurriedly, as if trying to find some sort of escape, "Please don't tell on me, Freddy! I won't do it again, promise!"

     His smile widened, and he said, "Please make sure that you don't. You're lucky you had Sun with you to ensure you did your routine right," he paused, then asked, "How did you do that?"

     I took the clip off of my vest and showed it to him, "You didn't think I wore this to start a trend, did you?"

     He tilted his head to the side, but replied, "It does sound like something you would do."

     I beamed at his comment, then turned to Sun, "Hey, Sunshine! Are you ready for the next prank?"

    He nodded enthusiastically, "Of course! Who's next?"

     Freddy cut in, "Wait, pranks? I don't understand..."

     I explained, "Every year on April 1st, humans have this, um... 'tradition' where they prank people. It's, like, a holiday."

     His brows furrowed, "Why?"

     That, I could not explain. I turned to Sun for an explanation, but he just shrugged.
