A/N: For those of you who read the author's notes, PLEASE give me your thoughts on this, I would really appreciate it. I do see your comments, even though I don't reply all the time. I want to know what you guys think, like what you guys enjoy and how I can do better so the sequel is something you all have fun reading.

This is part of the first chapter, called "It's Time They Knew." It won't entirely make sense right now, but the rest of the chapter will be available when I post the first chapter of the story. This is just to get you guys excited 'cause... well, they got together at the very end of the book, so we haven't really seen them as a couple... at all. I hope you guys like this, because I've pored over this a ton to make it as great as possible. Once again, please tell me what you think, in case I need to make changes or edits and stuff like that. Happy reeeadinnnggg! 😁

"Y/N, I think it's time to go back inside," Freddy said in a low voice.

I looked up at him with a confused look on my face. "What? Why? It's not even that late."

"The temperature is below 50 degrees Fahrenheit! I'm surprised you haven't asked for me to take you in by now," he replied, making his concern clear (though I thought it was a silly one).

My shoulders drooped and I scooched over so I was sitting away from him. I tilted my head and said, "I don't think it's that cold."

But at that moment a gust of cool wind blew from behind, causing me to shiver (real convenient, right?). I wasn't ready to give up though, and I was about to tell him that when he stated, "I will not be taking no for an answer, Superstar."

I loved it when he called me that. And I think he knew it... He could call me his superstar and end up getting me to do anything. I wasn't going to go down without a fight, of course. Not if it meant sending a bit more alone time with him. Just as I began shaking my head, he picked me up like a prince would a princess and began walking to the stairs.

I giggled in response, but quickly covered it up with a groan, "Freddyyy! I can walk on my own."

"Ah, but that's the thing. Would you?" he continued, "And besides, I have to admit I quite like carrying you. You're so small and delicate."

"Hey!" I laughed, "I'm not delicate!"

He smiled, "Yes, you are. There is no denying it, anyone would agree."

As much as I wanted to continue our conversation, the open door had caused some cold air to enter, so I was chilly; and Freddy radiated warmth. I snuggled in and smiled.

This is so... perfect. So, wonderfully perfect.

Freddy and I had "gotten together" two weeks earlier, and every night since then we would go to the roof to look at the stars. Those nights were the best in my life by far. Sometimes we would stay out so late that I would fall asleep, and Freddy would have to take me inside. I always woke up in Parts and Service, and Gregory was usually in one of the green rooms.

So far, it seemed Gregory's favorite place to sleep was either Foxy's or Freddy's rooms. Foxy acted like the big brother Gregory never had, and Freddy acted like, well... the father he never had. I couldn't help grinning at the thought. It was almost like... like we were a family. Every time I thought about it, I was filled with a giddiness that I'd only felt on the night Freddy had first told me he loved me, atop the Pizzaplex roof beneath the stars.

As we approached the bottom of the stairs, Freddy had to put me down. As much as I kind of still wanted to be held, it would've been hard for him to open the door... it didn't keep me from holding his hand, though.

We stood in the V.I.P. room silently for another minute. I looked up at him, and jumped a bit when I saw he was already looking at me. Part of me still wasn't used to the fact that he loved me, too. Every look, every touch sent my heart into a tailspin as it tried to make it's way out of my chest. I loved those hours spent with him... even if we kept them a secret.

Which reminded me of something! Before Freddy could make a move to exit the room, I clasped his empty hand on my unoccupied one.

I asked quietly, "Freddy, do you think it's time to tell them?"

"Tell who what?" he said, even though it was clear he knew who and what I was talking about.

I answered anyway. "To tell the gang about... us."

He looked away, clearly embarrassed. Neither of us had actually... told anyone about our new relationship. We didn't know why, but... I think both of us could agree that we kind of wanted it to remain a secret, so we could avoid all the troubles and complications that came with us being together.

A human and an animatronic. It couldn't even work. Not that it mattered to us, but the thought of people actually knowing - whether they were our robotic friends or not - made us uncomfortable. The way they would react was unfathomable to us, but the way they would treat us afterwards... I could see images of Sun, Roxy and Chica constantly gushing over how adorable we were, Foxy teasing us all the time, and Monty, Moon, and Gregory pretending to vomit and roll their eyes whenever we did something, um... "couple-like."

But of course, Ballora would be understanding. Ballora was the epitome of sympathy and kindness; trying to make sure everybody felt like they belonged.

I'd finished her, and I would present her to the 'the people in charge' the next day.

After slaving over her for months, I'd finally finished building her, and I'd turned her on before I'd left with Freddy so she could get accustomed to her surroundings and meet the others.

I had never been so proud, when I first saw her eyes flutter open and she broke out into a wide smile, her eyes sparkling with excitement. It was clear from the start that she was probably the most poised, mature, and reasonable person I would ever meet.

I cleared my throat, bringing an abrupt end to the silence in the room. "Well, I... I think it's time."

Freddy hesitated, but ultimately nodded in agreement and sighed. "Are you sure...?"

"Yes," I said, trying to put as much confidence into my reply as possible. "And besides - you still need to meet Ballora."
