This is madness!! Stop now Dr. Brent before you regret it. "We can't stop now! a revolutionary discovery is in progress" The lights flickered and the power meter went nuts. Exploding system all over the place "Here goes nothing!" I ordered my assistant to pull the switch as I entered this pod.
The whole place got black and my assistant was killed by shards of glass that exploded from our experiment. A green fog surrounded the room as the pod opened. "Did it work?" nobody answered for there it was. I saw my one and only assistant. Bleeding in the cold hard ground with his body covered with shards.
NO!!!!
My whole body started to shake, my minds in shamble and my whole world started to fall apart as I saw nothing in front of the mirror. "What? Is this real" My voice trembled to the words I've spoken. So I quickly went outside to touch somebody. Everyone I touch ran as I asked for help "Can you see me? Please help me!" yet everyone was afraid of what they didn't saw. It was madness, My madness drove out the best in me. It lead me to an irreversible act that will forever haunt me.
A few weeks past
"I'm starting to feel the side effect miss Juliet" My body was like in a pool of acid burning my ligaments up to the bones, my eyes felt numb and I could taste iron. "Don't worry chase, we're working to find a cure for what you did" She was the best physicist I know alongside Dr. Carson and Engr. Carl who were working day and night just to bring me back. "Just hang on, We'll find a way" Dr. Carson comforted me with such nice words. It took them two years to finally found a cure.
'2 years passed
"Finally Chase! we have found a solution" As they were preparing the extraction process, press all over the country gathered to witness this moment. "settle down everyone" Dr. Carson said. Everyone was asked to sit outside the glass room. The procedure was like an open candy shop were you get to see how a candy is made by pulling it many times. But this was no ordinary candy store. It was an operating room ready to extract such monstrous abomination that I had done. "Now or never chase" the operation began and lasted for more than three hours. Almost every reporter was hooked to this operation but by the time it was done..............

I'm not invisible anymore, There is a bright side after all. For after the whole event was done, my spirit roamed around visible to all those who knew of my story.
