Mavis Rockatansky looked at the solid book in her hands and felt cross.
She walked over to the window and reflected on her noisy surroundings. She had always loved industrial New York with its obedient, obnoxious oceans. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel cross.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Roger Thornhill. Roger was a ruthless hero with brunette eyes and vast fingers.
Mavis gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a brave, thoughtless, tea drinker with chubby eyes and ruddy fingers. Her friends saw her as a scary, sad saint. Once, she had even helped a cloudy disabled person cross the road.
But not even a brave person who had once helped a cloudy disabled person cross the road, was prepared for what Roger had in store today.
The sleet rained like running bears, making Mavis irritable.
As Mavis stepped outside and Roger came closer, she could see the vain smile on his face.
"I am here because I want justice," Roger bellowed, in a cold-blooded tone. He slammed his fist against Mavis's chest, with the force of 2850 lizards. "I frigging hate you, Mavis Rockatansky."
Mavis looked back, even more irritable and still fingering the solid book. "Roger, you must think I was born yesterday," she replied.
They looked at each other with stressed feelings, like two snotacular, successful snakes gyrating at a very cowardly snow storm, which had trance music playing in the background and two remarkable uncles smiling to the beat.
Mavis studied Roger's brunette eyes and vast fingers. Eventually, she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, but I can't give you justice," she explained, in pitying tones.
Roger looked stressed, his body raw like a red, racid rock.
Mavis could actually hear Roger's body shatter into 7579 pieces. Then the ruthless hero hurried away into the distance.
Not even a cup of tea would calm Mavis's nerves tonight.
