Bakugo's POV
When Nakayama passed out I didn't understand. I wondered if it had something to do with the way she's been acting the past few days. I know for a fact that she's hiding something. I saw Kirishima try to follow her so I stopped him.

I grabbed his shoulder "What the hell are you doing?" I asked confused.

"I'm gonna be by her side," he said with a hint of attitude.

"What is your obsession with her?" I asked confused again.

He pushed my hand away "I'm not obsessed with her! I just care for her! Unlike you! Maybe if you cared about the people around you and not just yourself then you wouldn't have been booed by the crowd or taunted by other teams!" He yelled at me and then went after Nakayama again.

I stood there in shock for a second.

I've never heard him yell like that... and he was yelling at me about being selfish.

I ended up following him to the nurse's office as well.

"Oi, sh*tty hair, I never said I didn't care about her," I said with attitude.

"I know and I'm sorry for yelling like that," he said not looking at me. "I'm just worried about this poor girl," he said squeezing her hand and only focusing on her. "I know for a fact that she's hiding something and I really want to find out what. She seems happy all the time and she's so strong. I really admire her for that but..." he paused and turned to sit down in a chair next to her bed. "There are times when I think her smile is just a mask to cover up what she's really going through," he said looking at her, and then he looked at me. "I just don't understand what could be happening outside of school that makes her feel all that pain," he said then looked at her again. "There's no way that it's from our training. If she's been training her whole life and stretching every day then it has to be something else," he said looking down. "But what could it be? What is she hiding?" He asked burying his face in his hands.

"It's fine sh*tty hair, don't tell anyone, but I'm pretty worried too," I said walking up to her bed. "I don't understand what can be going on that is making her pass out like this all the time," I said leaning on the side of the bed. "She seems very secretive about her life, maybe she just doesn't want to let it out yet. She can talk when she's ready, it's not like she really knows any of us well enough to trust us with secrets of hers," I explained looking at him.

"Yeah you're right, I just hope that it's not as bad as I think it is," Kirishima said looking down.

We decided to wait there until she woke up. When she finally did there was visual relief on Kirishima's face. I was relieved too and she sat up holding her head like she was still dizzy.

"Are you okay Nakayama," Kirishima asked holding onto her like he was afraid of her falling over again.

"Yeah I'm fine, how long has it been?" She asked.

"They're about to start the one-on-one battles in about ten minutes," I said with my arms crossed.

"Really? I need to get up then," she said slightly panicking.

"Are you sure, Nakayama?" Kirishima asked. "You seem very tired and dizzy," he said, stopping her from getting up.

"Yes I'm fine, I want to keep fighting," she said with a smile.

Recovery girl said if she was feeling okay then she could continue participating in the festival.

We walked out to the field when it was time and Miss Midnight announced the battles and I was against a girl named Uraraka Ochaco. Nakayama was against Aoyama Yuga, and Kirishima was against a guy named Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. As we watched the other battles Kirishima and Nakayama would talk to me a whole lot. I got a little annoyed but there wasn't anything I could do about so I just let it happen. When Nakayama's battle came up Kirishima wished her luck and she left.
