A few hours before the mission...

Mags is sleeping peacefully in Alec's arms..as a leader Alec is an early bird and Mags is totally opposite..he doesn't like morning wake ups.. Alec opens his eyes slowly and feels weight on his chest and looks down.. Mags is sleeping peacefully on Alec's chest hugging him tight.. Alec smiles to himself and runs his fingers in Mags' hair.. Mags starts to stir in his sleep and humms pleasantly.

Alec's fingers are doing magic on that magical man.. Mags never understand how the hell Alec's fingers always give him a pleasant feeling just like his magic running through his veins and honestly he doesn't want to know because this is his heaven on the earth.

Alec feels movement so his lover is awake but acting sleepy.. Alec stops running his fingers in Mags' scalp and takes his hand from Mags' hair and Mags frowns in his half sleep..he grabs Alec's hand and puts it back on his hair and moves his body right - left to tell Alec to continue.. Alec chuckles at his lover's childish behaviour.. not that Alec is complaining because he loves this side of Mags.

Alec : Wake up sleepyhead, I have to go to the institute!

Mags : Ummm ummm!

Alec : Wake up Mags otherwise I will be late!

Mags : You are forgetting, you are head of the institute, now shut up and do your things and let me sleep!

Alec : I am head of institution that's why I can't be late, if I can't follow rules then how am I supposed to expect others to follow them?

Mags looks at Alec with an annoyed face.. he becomes grumpy when his boyfriend gives more importance to other things than him.

Mags : I will burn down that institute someday, it's my real step lover! ( Your bf/gf's an extra affair )

Alec : Seriously Mags?

Alec chuckles and Mags gets more annoyed.

Mags : Seriously my love, I want to cuddle with my boyfriend the whole day and your institute is snatching these moments from me!

Alec : I will give you a lot of moments but right now I have to go to the institute and you have an old client today, remember?

Mags drops his head on the pillow and mumbles something.. Alec doesn't understand so he asks.

Alec : What are you saying?

Mags looks up at his boyfriend and gives an irritating look which explains a lot.

Mags : I JUST WANT TO STAY IN THE BED THE WHOLE DAY WITH MY BOYFRIEND!

Mags shouts and Alec has to cover his ears because Mags is shouting in Alec's ears.

Alec : Calm down boyfriend, okay how about I come early and we go a date! ( Mags frowns again) pretty please darling, please, please, promise I will make it quick!

Mags : Asshole promise?

Alec : Your pretty ass-hole promise!

Alec says while keeping distance between that word to make things clear.. Mags glares but chuckles at Alec's flirting ways.. once there was a time Alec didn't know how to say hi in a flirting way but now Alec flirts with Magnus all the time even after 4 years of their relationship.. thinking about how they come up with " asshole promise " ?

One day both were arguing over not informing whether the other one is going on a mission or going out of town and then their argument turned into fight where they literally started to shout that " you asshole promise me, you won't go anywhere without informing " they repeated " asshole promise " multiple times and after that it's always ' asshole promise '
