I'm currently at the pet store getting Obsidian his name tag. I wanted to find one that matches him. After searching around I finally found one. It was a silver chain with a black tag hanging from it. All I had to do now was put his name on it.
I decided to add gold letters on it just to make it prettier.
When I put it on his he started jumping around as if he knew that he was officially mines.
We leave out of the pet store and get to my car. I open the passenger door and Obsidian leaps in. I get it and we drive off.
When we pull into the driveway, I see Monty doing drills with the boys that were here the other day. Including Apollo.
As I get out the car I can see that boy Tyrik looking at me. I turn to him and he immediately jerks his back back to doing the drills. I guess they were working on blocking. Tyrik caught the ball and tried to score. That was until Apollo basically ran clean over him.
"Yea this my house nigga". Apollo said in a cocky manner.
Obsidian runs into the house and runs back into my room. I'm guessing honestly. I really have no clue where he went.
Monty and his team head inside to watch tv in the living room.
On their way in, Apollo says "hold up I gotta do something real quick".
"Okay hurry up" Monty responds.
Apollo walks up to me with an anxious but nervous look on his face.
"Hey um...I know you don't really know me. But I'll be honest I find you attractive. And uhh, I was wondering if maybe you'd wanna go see a movie with me? I mean not like a date or anything. UNLESS YOU WANT IT TO BE A DATE-" he says.
I tiny smile creeps on my face.
" so yes or no?" He asks hesitantly.
I responded by shaking my head "yes".
He said " cool ummmm, I'll pick you up tonight?"
I shook my head yes and went inside to pick and outfit. But before I made it inside, he said "wait let me put my number in your phone". I gave him my phone and he put his number in. He saved his name as "Apollo🔐🖤". He texted his number from my phone that way he can save it in his.
6:00 pm
I'm currently waiting for Apollo to come get me. I have one a red and white Nike jacket, a white T-shirt, and my red Jordan 11s. I'm super nervous. I've never really been on a date. Or had a boyfriend. So honestly I really don't know what to do or even what to expect.

After reading the message I hugged Obsidian and headed downstairs.
When I got down, he was in the living room talking to Monty.
"Aww baby bro you already making friends" Month said in an innocent tone.
"You ready?" Apollo asked me.
I shook my head yes and left out the door.
When I got outside I saw his car. Apollo must be Rick or something cause this car is NICE.

He opens my door for me. I get in put on my seatbelt and he closes the door. He gets in and he starts driving to the movie theater.
"You can put something on if you want" he says while handing me his phone.
I grab his phone and play "Newer Balance" by Jhené Aiko.
"Oh you a soft boy huh?" He asked while side eyeing me.
I rolled my eyes playfully.
We pulled up to the theater and he asked me what I wanted to see. I pointed to the "Wakanda Forever" poster that was on the wall.
"2 tickets for 'Wakanda Forever' please." He said.
The ticket lady gave him 2 tickets and we went inside. We got popcorn and snacks and went to our seats.
The previews for a horror movie came on and a jump scare made me jump into Apollos arms.
He laughed and wrapped his arm around me and said "it's okay. I gotcha". That made me feel good when he said that. I was actually blushing a little bit.
The movie ended and we headed home.
"Did you enjoy the movie?" He asked
I shook my head yes and a genuine smile on my face. I really did enjoy my time with him.
When I responded, the biggest smile appeared on his face as if my happiness was all he was reaching for.
Apollo's POV
We'd finally gotten back to his house. I walked him to the front door.
"I really enjoyed my time with you tonight" I said honestly.
"Well uh, I'll see you later okay?"
I turn around the walk away until I feel his hand grab my wrist.
I turn around to see his arms wrap around me. He was hugging me. We're finally getting somewhere.
When he released his grip from me, he waved at me and went back inside.
Demetri's POV
I got inside the house and saw Monty asleep with the remote in his hand. He must've been waiting for me to come back. When I closed the front door, his eyes shot open.
"So...did you have fun with your friend?" He asked
I shook my head "yes" and headed up stairs to my room where Obsidian was waiting on me.
As soon as I got in I greeted him with hugs and kisses.
For once in my life I was genuinely happy. No problems. No anxiety. I was just here. Living. Breathing. Happy. That's all that mattered.
