Rushing down a corridor filled with scientists, armored soldiers, and crying civilians, an older-looking gentleman in a grey lab coat pushed past them all, trying to make it to the end of the hallway.

As he reached a pair of doors, he pushed them open and entered a circular room filled with only a few people.

In the middle of the room was a large oval table, with many seats, some empty and some full. At the end of the table sat a middle-aged blonde lady, who wore a pantsuit the same color as the lab coat the man was wearing. To her left was another middle-aged-looking man, however, he was in red and black tactical gear, and his left arm was also cybernetic.

"Sorry I'm late Mrs. Hellford," the older man apologized, rushing to his seat at the table.

"No need to apologize, Professor Stevens, it seems you are not the only one who is late to this meeting," she scowled, tapping her finger on the table.

Soon enough, the door would burst open and several more scientists and soldiers entered the room.

"Please, everyone sit, there is much to discuss," she stated, snapping her fingers. As she did, a young lady stepped out from the darkness of the room. She had blonde hair and wore a grey blazer and black skirt.

"Here you are Mrs. Hellford," the sweet girl said, handing her a small pile of folders.

"Thank you Luna," Serena said, spreading out the folders. "In front of me are five files on the most dangerous mutants that exist in London. We are unsure of their location, but we now have a decent understanding of what these mutants are."

"And what is that?" a scientist towards the end of the table spoke, leaning forward.

"Well, Dr Eccleston, that is a very good question," she answered, opening the first file. "Let's begin with one we are 100% sure on, The Bat, also known as Professor Hassan Odeh. He was transformed in a freak accident, and is the reason my husband here is injured," she said, pointing to the man next to her. "The other four are classified as The Centipede, The Wasp Queen, The Serpent, and The Pillbug."

"Question," another doctor intervened, raising his hand, "You stated in our last briefing that Dr. Martin was rumoured to be working with these mutants, is this still the case?"

As Serena went to answer, the man to her side would stand up, placing his metallic hand on the table.

"Dr Martin is still yet to be found, as well as the serums those at Dellblade were working on," Victor spoke, pointing to the guards near the door. "I have my best men working on finding Dr. Martin and ensuring he is safe and accounted for."

"Thank you, Commander. Are there any more questions?" Serena asked, placing her hands on her lap.

The rest of the table shook there head and began mumbling to themselves.

"Good, then this briefing is dismissed. Back to your duties."

The scientists and officers all got up and began leaving the room. One of them, Dr Smith, waited until the others were all gone, pretending like she was packing up all her papers. Rushing over to the folders on the five mutants, she quickly grabbed them and stuffed them in her binder, rushing out of the room.

Meanwhile, deep under the city of London, and inside the long tunnels of the sewer system, a civilization was slowly building. Many mutants of different forms live in the cities' subterranean tunnels, trying their best to survive.

In the center of the civilization, there stood a moderate-sized tent, and inside the tent was a large round table, with a map of the city on it.

"So, what's our plan?" the centipede-like mutant said, folding his arms against his chest.
