Ruby is going to be showing up so much more in these chapters. Being one of the main characters in the story. This next story is about how everyone in the dread tower well, met Ruby! Hope you enjoy!
Um, who are you?
"Ruby, huh?" Anyel
"Yeah" Ruby
"So why are you here?" Anyel
"Well, I...I'm homeless, and I just, I've met your dads before and I wanted to ask if I could move in." Ruby
"And your intentions are?" Anyel
"What?" Ruby
"Don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about! What are your true intentions!" Anyel
"I'm sorry but I have no idea what your talking about" Ruby
"The throne!" Anyel
"Hm?" Ruby
"The throne! Don't you dare take the throne from me!" Anyel
"Oh, well, those are definitely not my true intentions, I have no interest in stealing the throne from you." Ruby
"Oh, is that so?" Anyel
"Yep! 100%" Ruby
"Sure" Anyel
Ruby had taken a couple of steps back, as Anyel walked away with her back turned, into the dark, lantern lit, hallways, of the dread tower. But, suddenly, she had heard another set of footsteps, and they had seemed to be approaching her, who was it this time?
"She's dangerous." ??
"What?" Ruby
"She is dangerous, just, watch out." ??
"Excuse me, but, who are you?" Ruby
"Oh, I must've forgotten my manners, my name is Aki, I'm Anyel's older brother." Aki
"Aki huh?" Ruby
"Yes, but, if you don't mind me asking, who are you?" Aki
"Oh, well, my name is Ruby! I'm a new comer, and, I just happened to stumble upon this place on one of my many journeys." Ruby
"Ruby, that's a really pretty name!" Aki
"Thank you!" Ruby
"Your welcome! But you mentioned journeys somewhere in your introductory sentence, what journeys?" Aki
"Well, journeys for shelter. I've had a hard life, and I heard from some of the village locals, and some of the bey club folk, that there was a place called the dread tower! I was curious, so I asked on, and turns out, it's this place! Quite beautiful I may add. And once I heard about the people that lived in the fortress, well, I just had to come!" Ruby
"Oh! So you have had some kind of past relation with my fathers, correct?" Aki
"Correct! And, I was just wondering, if I could just simply find them both and chat with them, that, I could have a chance of finding a forever home! If your fathers are gracious enough to let me do such a thing." Ruby
"Why, of course they would! And I know it could be hard to find them from time to time, so I will bring you to them, but, let's get you ready for them first." Aki
"What do you mean?" Ruby
"Well, they're quite hard to please, and with the way you are now, they definitely won't be to impressed." Aki
"Oh, I see" Ruby
"So with the help of my younger brother, Atashi, we could definitely pose as ally's, and help you on what I hope to be your last journey, to meet my fathers!" Aki
