Straight betrayal

"But, but, DAD! You promised!" Anyel

"We've both found somebody better, and more willing to take the roll of queen." Phi

"And who could possibly be better and more up to the job than me! I'm supposed to be next! This isn't fair!" Anyel

"Anyel!" Phi

"Who! I wanna know! TELL ME!!" Anyel

"ANYEL KUROMI! I've already told you that we've found somebody better! Now leave!" Phi

"No! I want to meet this person myself!" Anyel

"LEAVE!!!" Phi

"FINE!!" Anyel

She had marched out of the room, whilst slamming the large door behind her. She was furious, and whoever took her place, was going to feel her wrath. But suddenly, she saw, Ruby, walking past her to the throne room.

"And what do you think your doing?" Anyel

"I am going to your fathers, they called me here. And why are you here?" Ruby

"Well, I'm here because I just got evicted from my rightful place as the next queen." Anyel

"You were going to be the next queen?" Ruby

"Yes, why?" Anyel

"Because, um, I'm guessing they called me up here to tell me more about how to be a queen. They handed the job over to me." Ruby

It was like she had been stabbed in the back by her own fathers. Fury, pure fury. Raising her hand, a powerful beam of what seemed like just light had emerged. Marching through the throne room doors, and aiming it at Hyde's shoulder, as it went.

"AH!" Hyde

Just blood, smiling, pleased with what she had done. But suddenly, she had felt a burning ball of fire, that had been shot straight from Phi's hands, anger, and fighting, bruises, and scars. Once the fight was over, that's all that was left, someone was nearly dead, and Anyel was fine. She was powerful, and destructive. She had almost killed her fathers, turning to Ruby to finish off. 

"Anyel, stop..." Phi

"Why? Why should I? You betrayed me, I have a right to do this." Anyel

"But why does Ruby have to get hurt? Don't hurt our guest." Phi

"Fine, but never do something like this to me again! And you look pathetic on the floor like that! Get up! Your better then this!" Anyel

She had finally walked out, she was gone, it was safe. Her own fathers were scared of her, the fact that they raised a monster. It was scary.

"Does your daughter have no respect for you! This is unacceptable!" Ruby

"We had stopped trying awhile ago, she just, I mean, there's no helping her." Phi

"Well, enough about her though, are you ok! Do you need help?" Ruby

"Sure" Phi

Hyde had grabbed his shoulder, wincing, then had finally gotten up to assist the injured. There were unfortunately some maids and guards that had gotten in the way, just to get the situation under control. And after helping them all, and tending to their wounds, they had finally gotten the chance to talk. 

"So, what do you think of this?" Phi

"Well, um, I had never though that, I um, would go from being homeless, to being queen! I mean, never! But then again, I do think it is unfair that you did do this to your daughter! I mean, there has to be some kind of, I don't know, way? That we can all be happy! But then again again, I'm glad a monster like that isn't queen, and why did you even consider making her queen in the first place?!" Ruby

"Ruby. There is something you don't understand about Anyel, she doesn't normally act like this, At all! And when she does have her little outbursts, they aren't just normal tantrums, just, like, the best way I can describe them is just, anger! The pure definition. We've tried getting her anger management, but, there's just no helping it!" Phi 

"Yes, but, that really didn't answer my last question though." Ruby

"And the question was?" Phi

"If you knew she acted like this from time to time, especially when she gets angry! Why did you consider making her queen?" Ruby

"Ok, we're going to go back. Back to when..." Phi

Explanation

"Father?" Anyel

"Hm?" Phi

"What is it like to be a ruler! Is it fun?" Anyel

"Well, I wouldn't exactly describe it as fun, but, it definitely has its perks. You feel important, people depend on you! And yes it can be fun at times." Phi

"Oh, well, will I be a ruler one day?" Anyel

"Oh, lovely, it depends on if your ready, but I promise, you will be queen one day." Phi

"So, I mean, I did promise her..." Phi

Suddenly, Ruby had seen the look of guilt, a familiar feeling. Then the idea had sparked. And just out of curiosity, she had solved what would have probably turned out to be years of heart ache.

"Let me ask you. How do you elect Kings and Queens here?" Ruby

"Well, the two main people that stay through the election, go through a grueling battle, and to win, the loser must be severely injured and unable to continue, or dead!" Phi

"So, that's how you solve that problem?" Ruby

"Yes, and what's your point?" Phi

"My point is is that shouldn't you be doing that to solve this problem?" Ruby

"Well, you see, we would've, but we just completely threw that idea away, figuring that Anyel would probably obliterate you if you even tried to fight her. Yeah, not kill, obliterate." Phi

"Wow, is she that powerful! How did she even get this powerful!" Ruby

"We definitely don't know for sure, but we have a theory." Phi

"And what is that theory?" Ruby

"Ok, so, when Anyel was a newborn, she had trouble breathing. We knew there were going to be some complications with the pregnancy because it was, um, '✨Unique✨' to say the least. So to help with that breathing problem we had did something that resembled an electrical shock, Y'now, medically speaking, but we did that with our powers! Or '✨magic✨', so that extra power probably made her a lot more power thirsty and powerful then she should've been." Phi

"Ah! Now that makes sense, but, what about the tantrums, the treatment! The outbursts! Why do you let your own daughter treat you like this! Huh?" Ruby

"I-I-don't know, but, like I said, we had stopped trying awhile ago." Phi

"Well, maybe you should try again! And if that doesn't work get her some real help! Well, enough about her, I want to hear more about this queen thing." Ruby
