Yugi's Gift

It was now almost the second week of February next week the school is holding a Valentine's Day dance and the contest was at the beginning of next month everyone had finally figured out what they were going to sing. They were all sitting in Yugi and Yami's room.

Yugi was sitting in Yami's lap. He pulled out the contest flyer and said "the rules say you can have 2 solos for one person, 3 duets, and 1 group dance if you are doing anything like that. OK, let's go over the list of who's singing what".

"Ok, Joey and Kaiba, since you didn't want to do a duet or solo, you guys will be in the group dance, which will be Born This Way by Lady Gaga. Bakura and Ryou are doing a duet with the song Something There from Beauty and the Beast, Marik and Malik are doing Kiss the girl from the Little Mermaid, and Yami and I are doing 2 duets and one solo each".

"Yami and I aren't telling each other what we are doing for the solo but we are doing 2 duets the first one is It's your love by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill and From This Moment On by Shania Twain. Everyone is participating in the group dance right?"  Everyone agreed to be in the group dance.

"We should start practicing for the contest at least three times a week after school for a bit," Yugi said. They had practiced for about two hours before everyone went home. It was Yami's turn to cook dinner he decided to make Chicken Paprika one of Yugi's favorite dishes.

After a while Yugi came downstairs, taking a little break from his homework. "Mmmmm what smells so good?" Yugi asked his lover coming into the kitchen where Yami was making dinner and wrapped his arms around his taller lover's waist.

Yami smiled and kissed his little one. "Hello, Aibou did you finish your homework?" Yami asked him stirring the sauce so it didn't burn.

"Almost, will you help me after dinner?"

"Of course I will Little One.  What is it you need help with?"

Yugi frowned and said "Algebra, I just can't get the hang of it" he pouted.

Yami chuckled deeply. "So cute," he said kissing his little love. Yugi just blushed and smiled, loving how sweet Yami was to him, but watch out to anyone who hurt him better.

"Can you set the table sweetie? Dinner will be done shortly" Yami asked him.

"Yea I'm starving I could eat two hippos I'm so hungry." he giggled softly.

Yami chuckled and kissed him again and said "It's only natural you're so hungry. You're eating for two now sweetie" He said placing a hand on his little one's tiny baby bump and rubbing it gently.

Yugi placed his hand over Yami's for a few minutes kissing his boyfriend softly "I love you Yami."

He smiled sweetly at his little one. "I love you  too Aibou".

"I love you more Mo Hitori No Boku."

Yami kissed his little love once more, before going back to stirring dinner and Yugi went to set the table.

Once dinner was done and the table was set everyone sat down to eat. "Mmmmm this is amazing love". Yugi said grabbing a third helping.

"I'm glad you like it, baby," Yami said with a smile. "Oh, Yugi I completely forgot to mention to you today that Joey talked to Kaiba and he said that he is going to give us jobs at his company so we will be working there on the weekends". I'm glad I can now support my growing family Yami thought resting a hand on Yugi's tiny but slightly noticeable baby bump and rubbing it gently.

"What are our jobs going to be?" Yugi asked him

"Well for now you are not going to be working right away since you're pregnant. I had asked Kaiba if you could come with me. I would much rather you be with me where I can make sure nothing will happen to you or our baby. But to answer your question we will be game testers". Yugi smiled at how protective Yami could be. Once dinner was finished they cleaned up and put everything away they went upstairs so Yami could help Yugi with the rest of his homework. An hour and a half later it was done.
