(Many Years Ago)

Asumi is running through the forest as fast she can. She was wearing an outfit exactly like the one she usually wears like it was mostly moss green and instead of a mask she was wearing a hood. And instead of Seiken, she carried an ordinary, but rather old, sword. She can feel the sweat on her forehead drip down into her eyes, causing Asumi to lose her sight briefly enough for her to stumble on a root, sending Asumi flying into a rock and hit her head.

Asumi couldn't see right away and quickly became aware of the pounding in her head, causing her to stumble when trying to get to her feet. She try to steady herself on her feet when she hear the loud snap of tree branches, and then the thud of a heavy object landing somewhere off to her left.

"Shit, they're getting smarter." Asumi turn to the right and start running again hoping to hit the base of the mountain, and get to the beach before she's caught.

Asumi is running fast but it doesn't seem fast enough. She can feel her enemy catching up and she can almost feel the hot breath breathing down her neck. It makes my skin crawl and the fear to grow.

Asumi's armour is starting to chafe in places, and the old sword on her back keeps catching low hanging branches causing them to scratch at her neck, making Asumi stumble more than once.

The panic is starting to set in as she hear the growls, and the heavy footsteps, grow louder and louder. Asumi deek left just in time to avoid being pounced on as a large shadow flies overhead crashing into a group of smaller saplings. She don't waste any time running through a thick patch of trees hoping it'll delay her attacker long enough for her to reach the beach.

"Dammit!"

Asumi can finally smell the ocean so she know she is close to the beach, which is good because her pal is back on her trail and quickly catching up. She can see the water through a break in the trees and she can feel her heart pound harder at the thought of salvation for another night. She is getting closer to the tree line when she see sudden movement out of the corner of her left eye, and then the world goes black.

(Early in the Morning)

Asumi jolted up in the hammock and felt herself covered in sweat. Wiping the sweat from her forehead she turned to her left to see that the Ankokuken was still there. Luckily it was one of the tamer memories tonight.

Asumi's bedroom is located on the second floor of the house, the same as Kouji and Natsu's bedroom, as well as two other empty rooms. Her bedroom was normal, but what's out of the ordinary is stacks of books and papers on her desk with the board filled with post-its and sketches.

Deciding she wouldn't be getting back to sleep anytime soon Asumi slipped out of the bed, bring the Ankokuken, and left the bedroom. She breathed in the cool night air and looked out to see the sky will be in the day for about few minutes later.

"Hmm, that's really a bad memory even though 5 years have passed since then." Asumi whispered before she left Natts House.

Once she reached an area of plain fields, where there few buildings, Asumi drew a Seiken that was completely different from Kurayami's. That sword had a grey hilt with two yellow triggers inside the hilt and on its bottom. It had a golden blade with turquoise glass on the edge of the front blade. The emblem of the Sacred Sword in the crossguard is left blank with a slot that looks like it was used to insert something inside.
