Chapter 40-Aware

Taehyung was peacefully sleeping, having a nice dream.He smiles in his dreamland , turning his face to side. But the caressing of cold breeze on his skin made him shiver.He tossed around on the bed murmuring how irritated he is being.But the sudden shifting made him fall hardly on the floor with a thud.

Taehyung bite back a curse rubbing his head wincing painfully.He fastly opened his eyes when a intense headache and nausea hit him immediately.He glanced through the mid dark room, realising it is early in the morning.

He runs towards the nearest washroom hurriedly holding back the nausea with utmost willpower.He made it to the toilet in time empting his stomach with a sigh.

Tae washed his mouth and face, waking himself up from the dizziness before walking towards the living room.He become surprised knowing he was still in the same party wears that he wore yesterday and was slept on the couch in living room.Also his foot were hurting badly where it was neatly bandaged.

What happened?

Taehyung climbed on the steps, fastly turns on the lights everywhere in the house as he went.He twisted the knob of Jungkook's bedroom opening it expecting to see hyung's sleeping face like always do but was welcomed by an empty bed.

He enters the room slowly, turns on the light as he looking around to spot Jungkook anywhere in there.Taehyung tilt his head confused of where would have hyung went to the early morning.

He looks around everywhere for Jungkook,but the entire house felt oddly quiet and strange.He couldn't find Jungkook anywhere that for a second he became scared.

Jungkook didn't ever went outside without telling him that it worried tae.The strange silence around him made him insane.He fidgeted his fingers looking at the clock that shown time as past five in morning and then at the door expectedly waiting for Jungkook.

It was only after a one and half hour later Jungkook came home.Hyung was also in the party wears just like tae but Jungkook seems more exhausted than him.Jungkook's cloths and hair were messed,his eyes were glazed and face was stoic.

Tae hurriedly walks towards Jungkook sighing in relief but still worriedly.He was slightly mad at Jungkook for leaving him all alone and didn't informing him before going .He wanted to scold hyung for making him worry for this long.

He shook his head and cutely glaring at hyung but paused his steps observing the cold gaze of other.

"What happened, hyung?". Taehyung frowned his brow seeing how tired Jungkook is looking.

Jungkook ignored taehyung's question before walking forward trying to keep himself balanced.He stumbled slightly but kept himself composed fastly as he saw tae coming to help him.

"Are you drunk, hyung?".Tae asked slightly taken aback to see Jungkook in completely wasted state.Hyung neither drink often, nor did he came home drunk.So what's happening suddenly?

"Kim Taehyung, y-you-.. Don't mind me, go and get ready for school". Jungkook said dismissing taehyung's stare ,still trying not to be a weak infront of tae.Jungkook marched forward but the sudden hold on his wrist made him close his eyes furiously.

Jungkook turned around still staring at taehyung's grip on him before looking down at taehyung's eyes, making the boy cower under his gaze.Jungkook gritted his teeth ,as he poke his tongue on cheek.

"Remove.your.fucking hand.Kim.Taehyung!". Jungkook snapped making tae flinch.Taehyung blink his eyes,his grip on Jungkook loose as he stare back in shock.He bite his lips, bringing his hands close to his chest.

Taehyung's lips trembled, hearing the harsh and rough voice of Jungkook.He instantly looks down at his feet when his eyes brimmed with tears.The way Jungkook's face changed as his touch burned hyung made him sad.He bite his lips so hard, trying not to break down.

"Leave me alone for fuck's sake!And Just go to school". Jungkook shouted losing his last bit of patience in him.He was tired...the guilty and conscience were eating him out that he couldn't even look at taehyung's eyes.

Jungkook saw how taehyung flinched back, squeezing his eyes shut clearly terrified of him.Tae continuously nodded his head making Jungkook sigh.He wasn't intended to shout at taehyung,he only wanted to take care the boy.But.....

Jungkook turned back walking away leaving the boy behind.He wanted to clear his mind ,he wanted to get a grip on himself before talking to tae.He should make everything right like it has to be.

Taehyung was all gloomy in the school that Bogum couldn't not to wonder what happened to his friend.Tae was looking outside the class the whole time,he got scolded by two professors earlier and now he wasn't eating anything.Taehyung's eyes was red stained and it felt like a dark shell to Bogum.

"Hey...tae ,what happened-"

"Taehyung ?".An irritating voice made Bogum to take a deep breath and tilt his head to side furiously.He was going to threaten the shit out of the familiar intruder but before he could, tae stood up and went to hobi.Bogum blinked his eyes in disbelief as tae dragged hobi to a near corner.When did tae become friends with hobi?

Bogum watched as tae having serious conversation with Jhope.He can see tae's face beaming in surprise ,then shock ,and then disbelief.

And when tae came back to seat following that stupid along with him Bogum was really confused.Tae looked more devastated than he looked earlier.Bogum completely ignored hobi turning to tae.

"Why is he here?And what happened to you?".Bogum asks pointing to the sunshine smiles brat before glancing back at tae.He sigh when tae didn't even care to look at him nor even replay back to him, instead tae slams down his head on the cafeteria table closing his eyes tiredly.

Bogum was surprised to see his always cheerful tae being so out of character that he turn to glare back at Jhope.Something bad did happened!

"What did you do?".

"Bogumie,what did I do?".Jhope blinks his eyes being fake offended at others accusation.Hobi doesn't wants to say anything he shouldn't has to that he played dumb.If tae wanted to tell tae could have spoken, right?

"Why didn't you tell me taehyung is already taken?If you had told me that before, it should had made our love life more easier.No love rival means smooth sailing,baby! ".Hobi winks at other making Bogum sigh.

Bogum was going to retort to the nonsense the other one is sprouting but turns to side when tae stood up .

Taehyung grabbed his bag and the plate making Bogum frown.

"Tae..you didn't even ate anything! Where are you going?".

"I-I...I'm going home.I have something to do".Tae mumbled,his lips forming a thin line.

"But what about the classes?Our exams are almost here and you-".Bogum trailed off,seeing how tired tae is looking."Okay, then go home and rest ,you look like shit".He said tapping others shoulder making tae smile lightly.

"Thanks bogumie".Tae turned before giving a crut nodd to Jhope too.Anyway he was so grateful to have bogum as his friend.

Tae sighed walking back to his -their home trying to muster up the courage to face Jungkook hyung.He didn't know what exactly happened yesterday night,but he have some guesses after hearing everything from Jhope.

If it is like what he imagining,he is afraid how his life will be in the future.After seeing Jungkook in completely lost state, tae is sure that something did definitely happened yesterday.

Taehyung knew they weren't going to be same us they were once.
