What kills me the most

Ok, so about the last chapter... IT'S NOT THE END!!!! Hehe! I know what you are thinking... I hate you! And How could you do that to me!?! But it was all for a good reason! The end isn't going to be for awhile, your welcome. Sorry about that! And here is chapter 18! This is a short chapter, just to fill you in on some up coming stuff.

~ Rachel's POV ~

Can somebody pinch me? This just doesn't happen to people like me! People like me are suppose to die at an early age, or commit suicide! Luckily, I have found my savior. My knight in shining amour. And I'm one of the few that makes it out alive. Sadly the battle is not over yet, my dad is still out there somewhere and I'm sure he plans on killing me. I had Niall though so it was fine. We released our lips and stood there in the rain. Looking into each others eyes. It couldn't have been more perfect.

"I love you so much Rachel!" He said love twinkling in his eyes.

"Love is an understatement for the feelings I have for you." I said smiling, a wave of emotion flowing threw out my body. Obviously he felt it, cause his muscular arms embraced me in a tight hug. His hugs were impossible to describe. They felt like you were hugging a teddy bear. A warm one at that. I could stay in his arms all day! Sadly he pulled away by the phone ringing.

"Have you seen the newspaper yet?" A voice rang out from the speakers.

"What are you talking about?!?" Niall question into the phone.

"Take a look." They hung up and someone threw us a news article, and then sped off. Niall took a look around the corner but the man was no where to be seen. I picked up the newspaper and read the headline.

'Doug Luxenberg found Dead!' I read it aloud to Niall.

"What does the article say?" He questioned.

I cleared my throat and began, "Doug Luxenberg found dead at river. Locals found his body floating in the river a week ago, they claim to have seen ropes tied around his wrist, and multiple cuts and bruises. More information on the way." I stood shocked with a million questions racing through my mind. "You do know what this means don't you Niall?" He slowly nodded his head.

"It means that who ever is sending us these messages, isn't Doug..."
