If there was one thing Aemma hated in life, it was traveling by ship. She always got sick doing so. Aemma glanced up at the sky, seeing Darksmoke, Arrax and Vermax flying together to Dragonstone. How she wishes she could be flying instead of sailing, but she couldn't, at least not yet. The trip to Dragonstone on dragon back was over the ocean, she had never ridden on Darksmoke other than over land, but she planned to soon, for she would rather die that sail on a ship. Especially on a day trip like this one.

A particularly harsh wave hit the ship and she groaned as the ship swayed even more, making her feel even more sick than she was already feeling. "Oh gods." she muttered. She wrapped herself even tighter in her cloak, waves of nausea only adding to her misery. The Princess tried everything to not hurl out her breakfast, but nothing worked, and soon she found herself lurching forward, emptying the contents of her stomach into the sea. Again.  She would rather be trapped in a tight space with Aemond for a week than be on this ship. And for her to wish that, she is truly in misery.

For the entire day she sat on the same spot, for the entire day she sat in agony as every attempt by her mother or brothers to enter the cabin and eat something was ignored. By the time they reached Dragonstone, the princess was so tired and weak that her father had to carry her out. Rhaenyra ordered the maids to make something light to eat alongside with peppermint tea to calm down her daughters stomach. Laenor brought her to her chambers and her maid bathed her as the food was being made.

"Oh my sweet girl." Rhaenyra sighed, sitting beside her daughter on the bed after she bathed. She had already eaten some food and drank the tea and visibly looked much better than she did an hour prior. "You've already gotten some color back, are you feeling any better?"

"Never better."

"Here, drink some water, your body needs it after vomiting the entire day."

"Thank you." Aemma thanks, she truly was thankful to her mother. "Just promise me one thing."

"Anything, sweetling."

"Never make me board a ship again." she begged.

Rhaenyra chuckled, "from now on you will only travel on dragonback." she affirmed. "Now rest, Aemma, you must be exhausted."

"Good night, mother." In a matter of seconds Aemma was in a deep sleep. A deep, dreamless sleep for she very much needed it.

When Aemma woke up, it was well over noon, she could tell by the placement of the sun. Meaning that she had slept well over twelve hours. She finally felt refreshed. She put on her riding gear, expecting to spend the day riding her sweet Darksmoke all around the island. Just about she was about to leave her chambers, a knock was heard on her door. "Come in!"

It was her maid, Joss. Over the years, Joss had also turned into a companion for the Princess, although she would never be able to understand the burden of being a Princess, she sure knew what it was like being alone. Joss was just four years older than Aemma, she was brought to the castle at the age of nine when a kings guard found her being beaten by her parents in the streets of Dorne. Having pity on the girl, the Queen gave her shelter in the castle as long as she swore to be the Princesses chambermaid, to which the nine year old accepted. For the past five years she has stood by Aemma's side.

"Princess, how are you feeling?" she asked as she entered her chambers.

"As good as new, Joss, thank you for bathing me yesterday." Aemma thanked. She sometimes thought of Joss as an older sister to her. Joss was beautiful, she had long dark hair, big brown eyes and soft olive skin, a typical Dornish woman. She actually bared some resemblance to the princess Aemma herself.
