A new world, a new nightmare in waiting

This will be an xReader fanfiction. Updates will have no schedule sadly as I often struggle to keep up with schedules given I have many other big projects that I have to work on currently for school. I will try to update frequently or at least once a month but I can not promise I will be able to even hold myself to that loose schedule. I will most likely not be posting any AN (Author notes) chapter and if there is a reason for a long period of absence I will update the bottom of this chapter with the regarding information. I have a habit of making characters act very flirty so most of the characters will probably not act like themselves in the anime or how they're depicted in the games or manga. I personally love the Pokemon series and have played almost all the titles, I haven't played any before the original Diamond and Pearl as I simply never owned them myself, and I haven't really watched the anime since the XYZ series, I watched episodes after that here and there but never sat down and dedicated time to it. Anyways, I will try and include as many characters as I can handle having in the story at any one time, and if you want to see anyone specifically, please do request them on this chapter so I can easily check (I will of course check other chapters but it is far more convenient this way). Anyways, onto more information regarding the story itself.

The Main character will be referred to as Y/N most of the time. Although I did go into this intending to write for a gender-neutral reader, I slip into writing with female pronouns and it was just stressful for me to go back and correct it all the time, so this will be a female reader. This, of course, doesn't mean you can't read it if you don't go by she/her, anyone can read this. Although, in saying that, this story may and most likely will contain mature content, such as, but not limited to:

Swearing

violence

mentions of SH

mentions of abuse (of any type)

and potentially sexual scenes.

So for anyone under the age of 16, I do not recommend that you read this. I'm not going to sit here mothering people, hell even though I read questionable things before I was old enough to, but if you do please do not interact by bragging in the comments. Not only can this make people uncomfortable, but given the type of graphic things I have written in the past, I would not be comfortable knowing it was being exposed to underage people. I will just block anyone who does this so don't be an idiot, please. If you aren't comfortable with any of the mentioned topics, don't worry, that doesn't mean you can't read this story. I will try to remember to put warnings at the top of every chapter about any content that may be triggering in the chapter itself. If you still wish to read the chapter up until the content in question appears, I will block out the area where it is with warnings so you can skip over the content. If important story-related things happen in the designated area I will try and put a summary of what was said or what happened below in brackets. I want to try and make this story as accessible to people as possible and if I miss anything please do let me know.

With that, all said, onto the context of the story.

The reader will originally be from our world and, after an accident, will be transported into the Pokemon world. The story will start in Unova, but won't stay there. The reader also has two sisters in the Pokemon world but nothing will be said about the real world for the family other than some trauma-related things based on my own life. I'm sorry if you can't relate but you can always change the trauma to make it feel more personal. Even though I am inclined to give the reader my personal favorite Pokemon, you will have a Garchomp and you will like it, but if there are any other Pokemon you want to use then do let me know. This is only because it's a combination of my friends and my favourite Pokemon but I know that some people probably don't like them that much.

There will be no person x Pokemon shipping as I think that's a bit of a rocky area when it comes to whether it is beastiality or not. I won't be shipping the reader with the children's characters like Ash but the reader may have a big sister-like role to them if I do include them. The majority of the characters I will start shipping with the reader will be ones I personally simp for. I would give a list but I am guaranteed to forget characters. All i will say is that I have a great appreciation for the train brothers and ya boy Guzma, criminally underrated in my opinion.
