3. Hell of a night

AMANDA'S POV

A week later

It's been a week and I'm now in the Man's Nest. I hear the tube come up and I see Danger force. "Hey Mandy." Chapa says. "Hey Chaps." I say back. Chapa comes and sits next to me on the round couch. She sighs and asks. "So, what have you been up to while we were gone?" "Oh not much, just texting an old friend." I say. "What old friend?" My dad asks me curiously. I reply with the name. "Charlie." "Jeez, I haven't seen her in ages, how is she?" Dad says. "She's doing good." I say, I looked over at Chapa. She looked jealous. What? I asked myself. How could Chapa Da Silva be jealous. Before i could think more of it my dad said. "That's great." I nodded. After that me and Chapa were just talking when I hear the tube come up. It was weird 'cause everyone was here I looked over to see Henry Hart.

"Henry!" I shout getting off the couch and run to hug the guy just a couple of years older than me. "Hey Peach!" Henry said. We knew each other and were great friends, he was like a brother and Peach was always his nickname for me. His comment made Chapa glare at him with jealousy written all over her body. We hugged and i was so happy that he was back. After a minute or two we broke the hug and I asked. "So, what brought you back here?" He looked at my dad and then back at me. "Ray told me you were back so, i decided to pay you a visit." He said. I looked over at my dad and he smiled at me. I looked back at Henry and asked. "How long will you be staying?" "Five days." He answered. I nodded and we talked until he had to go back to his hotel to sleep.

Soon enough everyone went home. I said goodnight to my dad an Schwoz. I went to my room and got ready for bed. I was in bed but i couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about the fact that Chapa looked jealous. But of what was she jealous. Of me? Of my friends? Of Henry? I kept thinking but couldn't get an answer. That's when i heard my phone beep which means i got a notification. I looked to see that Chapa texted me.

With that i put down my phone and just waited for Chapa to come. After about fifteen minutes. I heard a knock on my window. It was Chapa. I opened the window and let her in. She looked tired her hair was messy and she was wearing hoodie with matching sweats. To be honest she looked... cute. What no she's your best friend and there's no way she's gay or bi. "Hey, you okay?" Chapa said snapping me out of my trance. "Yea, I'm fine." I said. I wasn't fine you could see it, it was written all over me. She obviously didn't believe me. "I know you're lying, what's wrong?" She said. I looked down and sat on my bed. I patted the bed signalling her to sit next to me. She did. "You know you can tell me anything right?" She said in a calm tone. "Yea, i know." I answered.

"It's just that... everything is fucked up." I said. Chapa looked at me confused. She didn't know what happened with my mom, nobody did, not even my dad. "Why? What happened?" She asked. "Oh, you wouldn't understand." I said hoping she wouldn't try to make me tell her. But she did. "I could try to understand." She said hoping that i would tell her, i gave in and said. ⚠️"If I am gonna tell you everything that happened, I need a cig." With that i stood up went to my cupboard, opened it and pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. I looked back at Chapa and she looked shocked. "What?" I asked as a small chuckle left my mouth. "You smoke?" She said shocked. "Yea, so?" I said as i looked at her. "I just never thought you would smoke." She said. I leaned against my cupboard. "You want one?" I asked as i pulled one out and put it between my lips. "Hell yeah!" She said. I chuckled when she said that. She walked over and i handed her a cancer stick. I lit the one between my lips and then the one between hers.

I opened my window and looked down at Swellview. God i missed this place. "So, tell me everything." Chapa said, she then took a puff of her cigarette. "Well, when i was about eight years old my parents started fighting... a lot. They ended up getting devorced. I still saw my dad often but i was with my mom most of the time. Which wasn't the best." I said. She looked at me as i took a long puff of my cig. "Why?" She said. "She started drinking after they got divorced. And she hit me... a lot." I said on the verge of tears. I put out my cig and she did the same. "My parents hit me, sometimes." Chapa said. I looked at her with an apolegetic look. And she just weakly smiled. "Anyways, tell me more." She said. "Well, when i was ten me and my mom moved away. I never knew why. After we moved the abuse got worse." I said a few tears leaving my eyes. "After that my mom started seeing things, all kinds of things. She ended up going to an insane asylum and, now I'm here." I said.⚠️ She said nothing and just hugged me.

I cried into her shoulder for about five minutes. I broke the hug. "We should probably get some sleep." Chapa said.  "Yea, we should." I said. I got in my bed and looked at chapa. "Come." I told her. And she did as i said. She came and layed next to me. I cuddle up to her without thinking. She blushes but puts her arms around me. We both quickly fall asleep.

Jeez this was one Hell of a chapter and probably the longest chapter i've ever made. Anyways i love you all and i hope you have a great morning, day or night.
