11. Nevermore

AMANDA'S POV

It's been about two weeks and me and Chapa have had a really good time together. I'm very Lucky to have her as my girlfriend. I was sitting in the Man's Nest with Danger Force, my dad and Schwoz. They were all talking about who my favourite Danger Force member is. They are idiots. I mean, don't we all know that Chapa's my favourite. It's very obvious. "No, I'm her favourite!" My dad said. To be honest I almost laughed, look I love my dad but he's basically a grown up child. "Why don't we just ask her?" Mika said, they then all looked at me. "What?" I said. "Who is your favourite Danger force member?" Miles asked me. "Chapa." I said like it was obvious. Chapa smiled at me. Dad was having a break down and the others were screaming at each other, not me, each other. As confused as I was I just sat there. Then I saw a bird with a letter flying through the door. Everyone stopped what they were doing and were quiet. It was an owl. It dropped the letter in my hands. After that the bird flew away. I looked at the parchment envelope that contained a letter adressed to me. I opened it as all eyes were on me. This isn't hogwarts, right? I took a piece of parchment out of the envelope and read it.

Dear Amanda

You may be wondering who sent you this, but you don't need to worry about that. I just wanted to tell you that I know you're with your father. And that you got your superpowers. I will be back, I will come for you. And if you don't want to come. I'll just take your little friends with me. Mika, Miles, Bose and Chapa. You know what I'm capeble of Amanda. I bet you're scared just like you always were. You thought you were safe, but you're not. I know where you are. I can see you, I will always see you. You can't get rid of me even if you tried. I'll be coming.

I read the letter. My eyes widend while reading it. I emidiantly got up and ran to my room. Locking my door in the process. There was only one person who could've wrote this.

Mom.

I was freaking out at the thought of my mom finding me. I mean, she's crazy. She could litterally do anything. And this was scary. Even for me, she gave me so much trauma and know she's just going to give me more. My mom knew me. She knew I would freak and not know what to do. I started crying at the thought of my mom coming back. I didn't want to see her. I didn't even want to look at her, I didn't want her to look at me. I then heard a voice. Chapa's voice. I wiped the tears off my face, but you could still see the mascara stains on my face. "Hey, you okay?" She asked, I knew I could be honest I didn't respond and just opened the door. I stood at the doorframe and Chapa looked at me. Her eyes widend as she saw me. I looked like a wreck. She came into my room and locked the door.

She grabbed my arm and dragged me to my bed to sit down. We both sat on my bed and she looked up at me as I was looking at my hands. "What did the letter say?" She asked me. I didn't say anything and just handed her the letter. I watched her as she read it. Her eyes widening at the letter in her hands. She looked at me practically terrified. "Do you know who wrote it." She asked, still shocked. "There's only one person who could've done it", I sniffled. "And that's my mom." Chapa looked at me. She was even more terrified than she was before. She knew what my mother was capeble of. She knew all of us together couldn't stop my mom. If you can even call her that. "Well, we have to tell them." She said, I looked at her and stood up. "Are you crazy, my dad would litterally freak out and the rest of Danger Force wouldn't be much better!" I yelled. I just couldn't believe what she said. Tell them, she really is crazy. "Look we could come up with a plan and beat her." She said, trying to reson with me, but I wasn't having it. "Chapa, you and me both know even with everyone, even with Henry we would still lose. She is unstoppable." I said, crying again. "Then we just need more help, I'm sure we could find more people." Chapa agrued, I was just going to say something when I hear a noise on my door.
