Chay's POV

After meeting Wik, I arrived. I don't know what to do, but Wik won't challenge me. I inhaled and reminded myself that I could handle any challenge. I devised a plan to show my worth to Wik. And not to underestimate my abilities.

First, I went to my cabin and set up my workspace so I could talk to my brother and calm down. Then, I took out my phone and called him. He picked up my call on the first ring and said, "Hello Chay, I was waiting for your call. Tell me how your first day is going, and is anyone bullying you? If there is someone bullying or annoying you, I'll let Kinn or I'll myself take care of them, and you can also quit the company if it's not to your liking." I couldn't help but laugh at my brother as he swamped me with questions without pausing even once to breathe.

"Chay, I don't understand why you're laughing because you're not saying anything. I'm here waiting for your call, and I'm having a lot of worries." My brother said this worriedly.

"Hia, calm down," I reassured him.

"How am I supposed to calm down when you simply ignored what I said and started laughing?" He said.

So I told him, "I'm not laughing at you. It makes me laugh to no end that you care so much about my wellbeing. But you don't have to worry about me because I can take care of myself."

"And my first day is going really well, too. Nobody here bullies me, and everyone is so nice. And they also take care of me." I assured him, that he was about to say something, and I cut him off and said,

"Hia, don't worry. If anyone picks on me, I'll tell them I come from a mafia family and that my brother is a judo player and used to be an underground boxer." I said and laughed, So he can stop worrying about me,

He also laughed and said, "My little brother is so grown up now; he's talking about the mafia and everything."

"Why can't I say that? The most well-known mafia boss in Thailand is married to my brother." I said,

"I can use that liberty if anyone bullies me. Right hia," I asked him.

He laughed at what I said and said, "Oh, really?"

"Well, my little brother told me once that he doesn't want to be a part of the mafia and wants to be on his own."

"Now I wonder what happened to him being independent?"

"I was kidding, Hia; you know I'll never use your family name to cause you trouble," I said to him because I don't want to bother my brother with my problems since he sacrificed a lot for me to be here, and I want him to be happy and live forever.

I was going to say something, but my brother stopped me and said, "Chay, please don't ever again think that way."

"You're my only family, Chay, and I don't want you to think that this isn't your family. Okay?"worriedly.

"Hia, you know me well. What I said was just how I felt; don't worry so much about it." I said it right away.

"Let me tell you something; it might ease your worry." I told him to change the topic so he would not worry about me.

"Hmm, what exactly is it?"

"That will make me less concerned about you," he asked me before I could answer him. I was interrupted by someone about whom I was going to tell my brother,

"Porchay, Why are you talking on your phone at work? If you don't have anything to say, you can ask Khun Freen about your work schedule for tomorrow instead of wasting time on the phone." Wik said in a stern voice, "I'll be in my office, and I need you to report on it right away." and left.
