Serenity pushed my chair in as I sat down.

I picked up my menu as she sat down in her chair.

We were at the restaurant she had mentioned. It was pretty nice.

We were on the roof so we had a beautiful view of the city.

"Do you know what you want yet? "

"Umm no I don't think so. There's a lot of yummy-" I began to say before seeing the price of the steak I was eyeing.

"Oh. Uhh. The beef stew. Is fine. " I said putting my menu down.

"Hi. I'm so sorry it took me so long. I'm not the one to usually do roof tables so I'm not quite use to the stairs. Are you ready to order? "

"Lobster steak special for me. And a beef stew and steak for her. " she said.

"N-no I said-" she gave me a glare making me shut up.

"I'm so sorry but you are very pretty. I'm sorry I probably sound creepy. I grew up with a lot of ugly people so seeing someone pretty just leaves me shook. " the waiter said after she wrote down our orders.

"Thank you. " I mumbled.

I saw serenity glare at the waiter before reaching into her pants. My eyes widened realizing what was happening.

"Uh um. Do you guys have sprite? " I told the waiter.

"Oh right. Yes we doo. And for you ma'am? " she asked not looking at serenity, making sure she wrote everything down.

"Water. "

"Mmkay! I'll be back with your drinks and your food will be done eventually. "

The waiter walked to the door leading to the rest of the restaurant.

"Serenity what the hell! " I yelled at her, but not loud to attract attention.

"She was the one flirting! "

"She complemented me. That doesn't mean she was flirting. " I said upset.

The rest of the dinner was silent along with the car ride home.

I took off my clothes and put on my pj's. I didn't feel like taking a shower.

I walked out of the bathroom to see the room empty.

I walk out of the room to see the guest bedroom door at the opposite end of the hall open.

I walk in to see serenity standing with her back towards the door on her phone. She was in nothing but a towel around her waist and a sports bra.

I rolled my eyes before turning around and going back to our room.

I lay down and cut the light off.

But as I was about to start practicing for my death my phone rung. I answered it to see that it was Anita and Zuri. They were in their favorite club outfits.

"Come pick me up! " I said excited.

It was now 3am and I still hadn't gotten any sleep.

I walked into our room and saw the bed neatly made and the room clean. Yet no Mani.

I searched the whole house and couldn't find her.

I called her phone and a drunk looking Imani answered the phone showing only her eyes up.

I heard her giggle before she put a filter on.

From the looks of her background she was in a club.

She tilted the phone down so I could see all of her face as she messed around with filters her tongue sticking out her mouth as she focused.

"Stink? "

"Yes? " she responded in a low voice rubbing her eyes.

"Send me your location baby. " I said grabbing my keys and getting into my car.

"Ohkay. " she said yawning and sending it.

"Stay on the phone baby. " She hummed in response.

When she gets drunk she gets very babyish.

"Can I get some ice cream please daddy? " she said laying her head on her friend Zuri's shoulder.

"Of course baby. "

I pulled up to the club. You could hear the music blasting from outside.

There was some people outside the club either on there phones, trying to catch a taxis attention, or flirting with someone else. That is, if they hadn't just decided to walk home.

I walked up to the club and entered.

The guy at the front not even bothering.

I walked in and looked around.

"Where are you baby? I'm here. " I said into the phone.

I saw her eyes light up and she quickly hung up.

A few seconds later she ran into my arms.

Her friend Zuri. Handed me her shoes.

I picked her up before thanking her friend and putting her in the car.

"Ice cream?" Imani asked as i got into the car.

"It's at home mama. Just wait. " I said pulling off.

She pouted before curling up in the seat and dozing off. Wrapped in the hoodie I keep in here.

I sighed before pulling into the driveway.

I got out picked her up. Locking the car up after.

I sat the keys in the bowl by the front door and took off my shoes before walking up stairs.

I sat her in the bed and started changing her clothes. Afterwards, I changed and climbed in behind her.

I held her close to me as I fell asleep.

Hoping she would never leave.
