Excitement fills me. This is my day. This is her day. This is our day. This is the day.

I can't wait to see her. All these years I've been with her. She's the best thing that's happened to me. And now she'll finally be mine and I'll be hers. Forever.

Not only is this an important day, but it is a beautiful one too. I can see the bright blue sky through the window of the church and I can see the rays of the sun illuminating the altar. It's the perfect spotlight for her, for she is an angel and angels deserve beauty.

There she comes. She is followed by her bridesmaids and beside her is her father. She has her arm around his arm as she walks down the altar. She looks so beautiful. Her smile is flawless. Her white gown is just adding to her beauty. She looks perfect. Her gown flows after her.

I remember the time when she had bought the dress. She was so excited and happy about it. The day had finally come when she got to put on the dress.

She walks slowly as the music plays softly. She's looking at me and I'm looking at her. I see nothing else but her, as if the whole world disappeared. It's just me and her.

And after this day, it will truly be just me and her.

And she's my greatest achievement.

She's about to reach me, but suddenly it becomes dark: the sunlight no longer enters the church hall. The low murmurs of the people come to a halt. The music stops playing. Instead, I can hear a woman's screech. I look back at Perrie but she is not there. The entire church is empty.

Before I could figure out what is going on, the sound of a loud horn fills the church, like that of a truck. The glass of the windows shatter. I close my ears because the sounds are painfully loud. I start hearing screams and I only see darkness around me.

Then I see the reaper staring at me.

"Zayn!" someone shouts. "Zayn! Wake up!"

Pain shoots through my head and I jolt up. My vision is hazy but I can still make out that someone is sitting next to me. It's the reaper. I look down and blink my eyes a few times to see clearly. I jerk my head vigorously. After a long minute, the pain subsides. I put my hand on my forehead.

"What happened?" I ask. I realise that I'm sitting on the floor with my legs outstretched in front of me.

"It was a memory wasn't it?" the reaper asks, looking at me curiously. "You fainted all of a sudden before me."

"Excuse me?"

"You saw a memory," she says. "Didn't you?"

It takes me a while to figure out what she's saying. I saw a dream.

I shake my head again, the sound of the horn echoing in my head. I don't remember anything like that happening on my wedding day. It felt so strange. All those screams, I couldn't make out what they were.

"These dreams sometimes don't show what actually happened," she says. "If you saw something weird, don't worry. It's just the trick of your mind."

"Was that-" I start to say as I realise what's going on. "Was that one of my phases? The ones which I have to go through?"

"Yes," she says. "That was, I believe, one of your greatest days."

"But you said that I was not supposed to die?" I say, agitated. I recall the time when she told me that I wasn't supposed to be in a coma. "I wasn't supposed to be in this situation. And you were scared like hell the last time I saw you. You were scared of me."
