(Portia)

When I seen Mia pull out the gun I ran behind this giant book case. Suddenly I heard a few gunshots then a bunch of moving around. Once the cost was clear I ran back to see Mia was shot in the head and stomach and other places. She was bleeding everywhere. The only reason why I hid because she told me to run. I quickly pulled out my cell and called my dad.

Calling Dad

Dad: Hey princess how's everything going

Portia: MIA BEEN SHOT, theses people broke in and they tried to take her and they pointed a gun and she told me to run and they shot her she's bleeding everywhere" she said hysterically

I hung up the phone and knowing the hospital is miles away from here I picked her up and got in her car since it was faster than mine. I arrived a half hour later and the people came rushing with a stretcher taking her from me. I tried to follow but they said I wasn't allowed. A nurse pointed to a waiting room and gave me scrubs to change into since I was covered in blood. I changed and waited in the waiting room. I've been here all day and I dozed off. I was awakened by my parents and her parents.

Mom: What happened to my baby

Portia: Ms Patterson your daughter Tally, her wife, and her father broke in. We heard the alarm in the morning and got dressed. We went downstairs and Tally was trying to convince Mia to help rob you guys and go with them. Mia was refusing and they grabbed on to her and I wrapped my arms around her stomach. They let go and we flew backwards on to the ground. When we got up Tally and Mia pulled out a gun on each other. She told me to hide and I heard gun shots and when I ran back to her side she was shot multiple times. I don't know anything about her condition and the last thing I was told was she is in surgery I'm sorry Mr and Mrs Patterson

Dad: It's okay Portia it's not your fault

They sat down next to me and I rested my head into my mom lap and poured my eyes out. My father just stroked my hair and kept telling me it would be okay. I then seen Jade come in front of me.

Jade: I'm probably the last person you wanna see but it's all over the news and I know she means a lot to you so I came to support and to apologize to both of you for everything I did and said the others called me a idiot but we've been friends since kindergarten and I miss you

I could tell she was sincere and I gave her a big hug. She squeezed me tight and told me everything going to be okay. She sat down with us and also apologized to mine and Mia parents. Around two something the doctor finally came in the waiting room.

Doctor: She's a very lucky girl the bullet to the head didn't travel far but it did do a little damage so we put a titanium metal plate in her head. She had another bullet to the pelvis area so unfortunately she might not be able to ever have kids and she has a broken foot. Her head is going to be hurting for a while and right now she is making a full recovery

Hearing she was alive was great news. The doctor told us hold on seeing her until they changed her room. After another twenty minutes we were finally able to see her. I walked in and she was sleeping. I got next to her in the hospital bed and grabbed her hand. She then opened her eyes and looked at me and backed up.
