The Tainted – a new breed of being created from a virus. A group of beings that was stronger, faster and deadlier than any other species on the planet.
If you caught the virus and died, you were lucky. If you were immune to the virus, it meant death by the hands of the Tainted. And if you escaped and were found, you became a slave. This is how the human race failed.
