at school, nari pov

"narii!!!" i heard hiyyih from behind, whilst i was just finishing off a few maths problems at lunch, i instantly turned around seeing her run towards me, she quickly sat at the seat in front of my desk, facing me. once she saw me doing my work, she sighed.

"na nari why are you studying so hard, we've got loads of time until the suneung, come on let's have some fun!" she nagged me whilst she quickly removed the pencil in my hand and closed my math workbook.

"okay, fine," i answered, i then leaned back in my chair, crossing my arms and looked at her, "so what did you want to do today?"

"let's watch the basketball match, it's the 3rd years vs the 2nd years, okay?" she exclaimed quickly, all excited, "gyuvin's playing."

i obviously wanted to watch gyuvin play basketball, but i didn't want to make it too obvious, i just stood up from my chair and hiyyih followed, linking arms with me, we walked through the hallways seeing that in fact loads of people were rushing to go downstairs, all talking about the basketball match.

"your boyfriend really is popular," hiyyih whispered to me, whilst we got to the court, seeing that there was already heaps of people sitting down on the benches, most people were just standing up.

we tried to make it closer to the court, so we could see the teams play, squeezing through the crowd, hiyyih was pretty good at pushing her way through because eventually we made it to the front. but i couldn't ignore the fact that everywhere, all i could hear were people murming about me, the amount of times i heard "isn't that gyuvin's girlfriend?" was getting exhausting, the amount of glares i got made me feel ostracized.

"oh my days, we're doomed," hiyyih started to complain, i looked at us confused, "why an earth is taerae playing?"

i laughed at her since i knew she and taerae had a rather love-hate relationship, taerae seemed to be interested in her but her, not so much.

i then started to look around, my eyes instantly caught on gyuvin, i saw him practicing, before the match could start, how could he look so good bouncing a basketball? i smiled.

3rd person pov

nari was able to catch on the fact that the half of the court in which gyuvin was practicing at was crowded with girls, all looking at him with promising eyes, most of them holding drinks, which they were going to offer him.

gyuvin's eyes wondered around, in the hopes in seeing nari, although he completely forgot to tell her about the match today. he looked around for a good five seconds, but then saw her, his eyes lighting up. he quickly tossed the ball to taerae, and ran towards her.

all eyes were on gyuvin as he ran smiling to nari, nari brightly smiling at him too.

"you came!" gyuvin exclaimed, as he reached out to grip onto nari's pinky, making her stomach tingle.

"hiyyih told me about the match," nari answered back as she looked at hiyyih as she held a proud face.

"you actually did something good for once." gyuvin then muttered to hiyyih, making her scoff, whilst still gripping onto nari's pinky finger.

he looked straight away back at nari, smiling at her, and then looked back at hiyyih as she muttered something.

"why am earth is taerae playing! are you crazy! you know that loser has some sort of curse, you guys always lose when he's on your team!" she passionately explained, i laughed at her because her arms were doing these funny actions and gyuvin just glared at her.

"he said he wanted to score for you, okay?" gyuvin scoffed as hiyyih held a disgusted face. he then looked straight back at nari who signaled for him to leave, and to go back on the court as it was time for the match to start, he nodded as nari cheered him on, whispering good luck.
