The Krux Fleet's ship neared Inazuma. As it did, a certain albino haired poet with a red streaked hair strand admired the view of the port of Ritou. The autumn trees were slowly coming into view, and the stalls and shops starting to fade in.
After a short time, the ship arrived into the port.

"Lower the anker!" Beidou commanded, helping her crew members dock the ship. Kazuha tried helping around the ship. Later on, Beidou made an announcement. She got up onto the main part of the ship. "Everyone, pay attention!" She yelled loud enough for everybody in the boat to hear. "You all have about one month to visit Inazuma. I have managed to book a inn near a bar, it's called "Nomimono to Hikari." By the 30th of April, I expect all of you to be here in the evening. Meet at the bar when evening comes for a paid meal. Is that clear?" She waited for everyone to nod in confirmation. And they did.

Everyone rushed off of the ship in excitement. Feeling happy to be able to visit Inazuma for the first time, or feeling happy to be able to reconnect with loved ones who they haven't seen since the Sakoku Decree. Beidou went up to Kazuha. She tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey Kazuha, we're here."

Kazuha turned his head towards her. "Oh, forgive me for not paying attention." He apologized. "Don't worry about it, go in have fun! You can visit some old friends." She told him with her usual comforting grin. "I am truly grateful for you Beidou."

"It's no problem." She said as they both walked off the ship and into Ritou. Beidou went to greet some old friends, which left Kazuha all on his own. He thought for a while. He then came up with an idea. He had been longing to visit Narukami Shrine for some sightseeing. Kazuha began walking to Inazuma city. He took a short cut towards Chinju Forest. He walked around for a while, until he found the very long set of stairs that led up to the shrine. The poet began walking up the stairs. At first, it wasn't too bad, until he reached half way up, he felt like he needed a small break.

The young poet took a few minutes to catch his breath, and then he took a bottle of water that was attached to his waist and drank it. With a small exhale he began walking up the stairs again. When he finally reached all the way up, he admired the sight. He thought that it was definitely worth the long and tiresome journey up the hill. He sat around for a bit, watching the sun in the afternoon. Kazuha took a small notebook he carried around and wrote a few ideas.

The two words 'Autumn breeze' kept swirling in his head, waiting to be used in a poem. Before he knew it the sun was setting. He gazed at it, the beautiful colors of red, yellow, and orange mixed together in the sky of Teyvat. The slightly cold autumn wind passing through him. It was a bit later that he realized that he was so caught up in admiring the beauty of Inazuma from the top of the Narukami Shrine, that he forgot he was supposed to meet Beidou in the bar she mentioned.

He quickly stuffed his notebook back in his pocket and ran down the mountain. By the time he made it down, he realized he made a bad decision of running and he was now breathless. Nonetheless, he continued running to 'Nomimono to Hikari' until he was at the entrance. He walked inside and looked around for Beidou. Only then she waved to him, and he realized there was a small part of the bar was occupied by the Krux Fleet.

He walked rapidly to Beidou. "Kazuha, sit here." She commanded, and he did as told. "Are you alright? You look like you ran around the entirety of Inazuma City!" She joked. "I just... thought I could be able to see Inazuma from.. the top of the Narukami Shrine and... be able to make it back." He said in between pants. Beidou sighed, "Listen kiddo, you need to be more careful next time. You're lucky you didn't faint from fatigue on your way here."

Kazuha gave Beidou a quick smile. The waitress soon came. "Anything I could get for you both?" She asked them. "Right, can we get a miso soup and some grilled fish? Could you add the signature shrimp crackers too?" She gave the order to the waitress. "Alright, I'll be going then." The waitress said as she left. "How did you know exactly what I would order?" Kazuha asked Beidou curiously. "Well, I've known you long enough to know what food you like." Beidou told him. "Oh, that's good to hear." Kazuha said as he smiled towards her.

They both ate their food and began drinking. "Cmon Kazuha! You're on your third cup, and you look like your already wasted." Beidou laughed at the sight of a drunk Kazuha. "No, I'm fine.." He said in between slurs. "I think your right though. Well, I'll get gOing." He said trying to keep his composure. Beidou waved him goodbye, not sure if she should accompany him.

Kazuha looked at the sky. 'The night looks young.' He thought. 'I'll go to the beach, it might look nice at this time.' He thought as he began going to the beach. His vision getting even more blurry by the second. On his way, he was stumbling a bit. As he passed by, there was a lot of muffled voices and noises from his surroundings.

Finally, he made it towards the beach. He looked up towards the night sky. The stars were decorating the majestic sky. The sound of the waves were like lullabies, taking him into a slumber. He sat down, his back against a cliff. He slowly started sleeping. The cold of the night slightly bothered him, but it did not matter too much.

The wandering boy came closer to the beach. A slight feeling came over him when he saw a sleeping boy. He felt as if the boy sleeping before him was familiar, but he did not know how or why. Until he saw the red streak in his slightly long albino. The wanderer felt pity, and he wanted to honor his dead friend by taking his dead friend's descendant to somewhere more safe to spend the night. He swiftly picked Kazuha up into his arms. 'Wait a second.. I don't even know where he's spending the night.' He then remembered seeing the brunette woman that the boy in his arms got off the ship with.

The wanderer made his way towards Inazuma City, he easily found the brunette. He saw she was outside 'Nomimono to Hikari.' The brunette turned her full attention towards the wanderer once she saw Kazuha in his arms. A million questions rushed through her mind at a time, but she decided to ask one question specifically. "What happened to him?"
She asked, trying not to sound too panicked. "I found him at the beach like this, then I remembered I saw him with you so maybe you'd know where he usually sleeps." The wanderer explained to her.

Beidou gave him a suspicious look, but then she led him towards the Inn her crew was staying at for the month. Each member, including Kazuha, had their own rooms. She unlocked the room's door and let him in. Beidou decided to stay outside and lean against the wall.

The wanderer carefully placed the boy in the bed. He came closer, staring at the man before him whom was peacefully sleeping. He delicately brushed a strand of hair behind Kazuha's ear, admiring his beauty. The way his peaceful sleeping face was lit up in the moonlight made him feel something. A feeling that he has not felt in his entire 400 years of living. 'Wait... no.. this feeling....it feels so wrong.' The wanderer thought, so he backed away from Kazuha and left the room.

The wanderer left the room to be greeted by Beidou, who was leaning against the wall. "I have a question. How did you find Kazuha?" She asked as she raised a brow. "I just happened to find him while I was wandering the beach."

"At night?" She asked him, getting more suspicious of him. "Why would anyone be up at this time walking around a beach?"

The wanderer started getting irritated at all her questioning. He wasn't exactly a patient person. "Why are you up at night then?" The wanderer asked while glaring at her. "Well played. I'll let you be."

The wanderer left the inn, leaving Beidou alone. That's when she realized she didn't ask him to give his name. 'Damn it.' She sighed and checked up on Kazuha before leaving him to rest.

The wanderer kicked another rock into the lake. 'What was that stupid feeling... I haven't even spoke to him once. Is this what humans call.. love?'

Damn 1522 words. It's only the first chapter and somehow I already pulled the classic 'love at first sight move.' The chapters can go from coming out in 2 days to a month depending on my schedule and mood. Anyways, don't forget to stay hydrated! <3
