i actually got inspiration for this while in mexico because we all know im always there whether its for class or vacation or because i wanna waste time or for a concert IM ALWAYS THERE like if i amnt in my home country im in mexico for the day or week

julietta - was supposed to be my cousins name and i said fuck it and stole it
joaquín - literally the only name i didnt steal but i have a vague feeling i stole part of it from one of my coworkers
inspiration for kenji's arm slaughter was literally from a cartel video that circulated like 8 years ago of them doing that to a man in the forest-
durango setting is taken from the origin where my dad and his entire family are from (my grandpa was mexican fbi dealing with the cartel)
gang infiltration inspired from my other grandpa although he didnt infiltrate mara salvatrucha, he infiltrated the cartel under a fake name for shits and giggles and later escaped to then became one of their most wanted lmao (both my grandpas, one fbi and the other cartel-related were best friends)
the part where kenji questioned eita about being a sole member escaping mara salvatrucha was kinda in reference to my aunts father in law who escaped mara salvatrucha alone and wasnt able to enter el salvador for years because theyd shoot him dead... he has the massive tattoo on his chest unlike eita where i placed it on his arm
the death method of muriatic acid injected into the blood stream is a legit method of torture and one that i know for a fact was used along as a form of torture used to kill animals not sure if the one i had tsutomu use with lead is an actual one but itd make sense if it were because it would cause death faster and would hurt like a bitch
tres leches cake is actually a slay... pls eat some one day i reccommend and if you dont like it, they probably didnt make it properly... if it looks like a regular vanilla cake dunked in milk THAT IS AN ABOMINATION DONT YOU DARE EAT IT
