Chapter One: A New Experience

It's been a week since we've moved to trollberg. My brother, Shen doesn't seem to have much trouble getting around. Me on the other hand is having a lot of trouble adjusting to the big city. admittedly, I've never been as stressed before as I am now. The new school, the new people, the new... Everything. 

It's starting to get to me a little bit.

"Hey bro you ready for school?" Shen asks me with laziness in his tone.

"Can we move back to H/T?" I ask desperately.

"No, Y/N we've been over this. We can't go back." He sighs.

After an awkward moment of staring at each other, he finally speaks up and asks the same question.

"Are you ready for school?" 

"No, not really but I don't really have a choice do I?"

"No not really." He deadpanned.

Without another word, I started heading towards the door of our new house with Shen following close behind. I make sure to grab the school pamphlet on the way out. I open the door and the sight I was greeted with was underwhelming. Few people walking down the street while a yellow car drives down the street. I look at my brothers dead in the eye.

"This is the sight you said beautiful?"

My brother, not fazed by what I said, shrugged. "It's been awhile since I last visited here. Things change."

"Yeah, I noticed." I breathed out.

I start to walk down the street to the school, feet dragging behind me. My brother seems to take notice of this and picks me up and gives me a piggyback ride. 

"...Bro?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"Thanks."

"No problemo."

He continues to walk down the street and I decided to make some small talk.

"So what's your favorite game?"

"Probably B/F/G." He answers 'honestly' though I could probably tell that he was lying. I decided not to push it and to just continue the conversation.

"What do you like about it?"

He then proceeds to rant about the stupid game that I wished that I wished I never asked about. It felt like hours before we finally arrived at the school.

'Edmund Ahlberg Elementary School'

'Interesting name...' I thought to myself. I finally get off shen's arms and proceed to go to the school.

"WELL, that was a... nice conversation but look we're already here! HAHA, well see you later Shen!" I say desperately, trying to get away from the conversation. I quickly turn around trying not to give him a chance to respond but before I could do anything, I bumped into something. Or rather, Someone. We both fell to the ground after a minute of stumbling.

"Ah, sorry!" I say, trying to get my Barings again. I opened my eyes again and saw a blue haired girl.

"It's fine, I wasn't paying attention." She said, getting up and offering me a hand that I gladly took.

After I got up the school bell rang. I turned back to the girl.

"Welp, that's my cue. Sorry for bumping into you. Bye." I say quickly, trying to get to class as soon as possible while by brother gives me a shit-eating grin. I disregard him and quickly realize that I have no idea where I'm going and I realize left my pamphlet with Shen.
