The long road ahead~ Dawson family story

chapter 5

I laid awake with my mind not wanting to stop over thinking. In the end i managed to fall asleep but i woke up about 3 hours later. I was exhausted but i had to run to the bathroom to throw up. The past few days i had been sick with a very bad headache.

My brother walked in with the twins in his arms. He sat on the edge of the bed next to me.

"How you feeling today little one"

"I still feel really ill, do you still need me to watch the twins"

"Yeah but were going to go to the district so im their to help when they need it. Especially with you being ill"

"Okay thats alright"

As we pulled up outside the district i had to run because i was about to throw up. I walked back to my brother and helped get the twins inside and upstairs.

"Hey you four." Everyone said as we walked up the stairs.

"Whats up with you becca" vioght questioned.

"I still dont feel well, i need to lie down my head hurts" as i said that i passed out.

Everyone ran over while jay called for an ambulance. Becca still hadn't regained conscience. Antonio knelt down holding my head and crying.

"I cant lose her. Please dont leave me bec please"

As antonio finished his sentence the paramedics arrived. Gabby and sylvie came in they didnt really know who it was but when they noticed it was becca they ran over and got to helping her the best way they could. Antonio and jay helped lift becca onto the stretcher and then get her into the ambulance.

As they raced to the hospital un- imaginable thoughts rushed through antonio's and gabby's mind. They arrived and rushed becca through the hospital doors as doctors surrounded her trying to find the source of what caused this to happen.

The doctors finally found the cause of becca passing out and throwing up. The doctor came out to talk to her family and the others from the district.

"Family of Becca Dawson" as he said this Antonio and gabby stood up along with the rest of district 21.

" becca needs an operation to remove her appendix, this is the cause of her throwing up and the passing out was most likely caused from dehydration. We need her legal guardians to sign these forms for the operation please"

Once the doctor finished explaining the prognosis Antonio stepped forward and signed the forms for the operation.

The doctors then prepped becca for surgery, while the rest of her family waited patiently for an update.

Becca was then wheeled into the operating theatre...
