As i stood up i felt nervous but i knew i needed to say something. I took a deep breath and began...
"My parents were always their for me even in their line of duty jobs. They never took a day off work in there life except for the days my mother gave birth. I was raised around a police station and a fire station but that never got in my way. If there was anything i knew it was that my parents put there life on the line to look after this city. Im glad they're together and i know that the support my family has would make them proud. I plan to make them proud everyday i can. I will love and miss them forever." I sat down as my brother spoke and then my sister spoke. I had tears streaming down my face and i couldnt stop them.
As we all went to the after party just like my parents would of wanted i sat down in a corner on my own. I didnt want to talk to everyone and have their pity. I noticed erin starting to walk over and then sit down next to me.
"You know i grew up without my parents the closest person to a parent was vioght he made me who i am today. You'll get through this you have a huge family supporting you who love you"
"Thankyou erin i will make it through this and so will gabby and antonio"
As people started to leave i helped put the twins to bed, then i said goodnight to my brother and sister. Today had been a long day i was just ready to go to sleep.
I couldnt sleep at all that night. It wasnt the first night though ever since i lost my parents i havent been able to sleep at night. Then everyday i go to school exhausted or go out exhausted. I just want to sleep.
