chapter one

i turn on my pc, opening up the stream and grabbing my dinner for tonight.

scaramouche, otherwise known as scaracake is my favorite youtuber/streamer.

he often streams at night, so i love to sit down and eat dinner while watching him play a game or talk to chat.

whatever it is, ill always tune in.

"so chat, you guys remember about how i was moving to a new city?" he starts his stream off with.

my eyes light up.

there were rumors going around that he would be moving to nyc. he never said this explicitly, but he had talked about nyc a lot and how much he loved visiting.

since i live in nyc, i was excited at the idea of him moving here. i work at a popular bagel place, so there's a chance that he could come in one day and i could shoot my shot.

but id be too nervous for that. and it's not guaranteed he wants to move here, so.

"you guys know im a nepo baby, so i was able to find a pretty nice penthouse-"

i nearly spilled my drink.

penthouse? no way. he's got to be moving here.

"-so i guess you guys will get a penthouse tour at some point!"

im accepting now that he is probably moving here. now all that's left is to get my rizz game up and somehow get him to come to our bagel shop.

fortunately, i ended up being accepted into his private twitter a month ago, so maybe that was the way to go.

ive never really talked to him before though. he does follow me back and like my replies, but we've never really talked.

but maybe, just maybe my plan could work.

"alright chat, let's go to bed now. unless you're on the other side of the world, i guess. thanks for the support!" he ends stream.

i turned off my pc, and hopped into bed. i smiled to myself, fantasizing about my plan going through, and i finally get to talk to him.

i check my phone, and surprisingly he tweeted on his private.

i can do this. i will be able to meet him.
