Eddie's POV:

I can barely bring myself to knock on Wally's door. I had a bouquet of wildflowers in my hand and a letter from me in the other. I took a deep breath and rang the doorbell.

"Be a grown man, Ed..."

Wally opened the door with a smile.

"Oh, hello, Eddie!" I say happily.

My entire body tenses up. I ruffle Wally's back hair.

Wally giggled and melted into the touch of mine. I couldn't believe what he was doing. I pulled my hand away and handed Wally the letter. Wally looked over it and smiled. I handed him the flowers.

"W-Well, thank you, Eddie."

I nodded and walked away. I didn't say anything. Just walked away. I didn't even want to turn back.

Wally's POV:

I opened the letter,

"Wally

You seem really cute, I'd love to date you. I know you might not care, but please. Give me a chance. I was too afraid to say this in person, so I thought I'd tell you the only other way I know how."

I shook as tears came down my face. Like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.

"Oh, Eddie..." I whispered.

"I would love to."
