Thanks To You, Princess
Now, we all know that Hawk is very cocky. Until it's time not to be cocky, which he never catches on in time. Hence is why he always gets into trouble. Take this story for instance.
"Yo Hawk! Where you going? The party ain't over yet.", one of Hawk's friends said.
"I'm wasted man. I gotta get out of here, before I pass out from drinking too much.", Hawk slurred.
"Alright, what about your car though? You're not planning on driving home are ya?", his friend questioned.
"Nah, of course not. I'll just come pick it up tomorrow. If that's okay with you.", Hawk said.
"Okay. You need a ride?", his friend asked.
"No, I'm good. I could use some fresh air.", Hawk replied.
"Alright, see ya tomorrow.", his friend said.
"See ya.", Hawk said back, walking away now.
Hawk of course, was stumbling down the dark streets. And since it's 3:00 a.m., there's not a car in sight. He's so drunk out of his mind, he didn't realize he was being followed.
"Move, and I'll blow your fucking brains out.", a man said, pointing a gun at Hawk's head. At that moment, two of his ski masked men stepped out of the shadows.
"I got nothing, man. So go fuck yourself.", Hawk said fearlessly.
I don't know boss, I think we should just kill this asshole now.", the man behind Hawk said, gun still in hand.
"It's your call, that gun will only have your prints on it.", the boss said calmly. While the man pondered on what he's gonna do, there was another presence.
As Hawk was thinking of how he was gonna get out of this mess, the man behind him started screaming. Hawk looked behind him to see a preternatural being attacking the man, it looked like it was eating his neck.
"Fuck this shit! I'm getting out of here.", the boss said, making a beeline for it.
"Wait for me boss!", the other man said. But with lightning speed, the being charged at him. Leaving the boss to disappear into the night. The darkness was filled with screams, and then it was silent. The being then stood up and turned to Hawk, who was speechless.
"You okay? Are you hurt?", the being asked.
"No, I'm fine. Thanks to you, Princess.", Hawk smirked.
"Don't you ever know when to stop being so cocky? I'm Y/N by the way, a vampiress.", Y/N stated.
"Hawk, a human.", Hawk smirked.
"How did you know I was being attacked?", Hawk asked.
"I was following you.", Y/N said, disappearing into the dark night.
