Known spells: Pain, Forced Servitude, Soul Theft

I put my cloths back on, Sammy as I had changed her name, was meek and tied with rope to Cy's back. After a long night, she had been my first person to have Forced Servitude cast on them, but my anger wasn't over yet. She kept her mind and heart, but could only address my as master and do what I bid. Maybe in another night or two of taking her strength would I let her roam free... I licked my lips.

I was much stronger, it stunk that I was still missing a leg, but that was fine. I had my spear in one hand, book in the other.

Cy, Anger, Dobby, Bobby, Nobbie, Sammy, and the remaining nine goblins were quite a force to be reckoned with. They followed as we left the underground city hall. I wonder if monsters would come back...

Some people were outside, actually AJ one of them. He spotted us, and ran away especially after seeing Sammy's fate. Honestly understandable, I shrugged, and moved on. I still had to get home, and get to Bre, if she was still alive. I'm a bad boyfriend....

I moved much better now. It was a ton easier. The goblins in the area made a few attempts to attack us, they were a ton less aggressive out here, and it was daytime. The past few days I had eaten monster meat, which I found mildly enjoyable. It was plain, which compared to what I found in the church was fine, but it didn't kill me and I wasn't super picky.

A TV was on, I saw a popular news station, NCB3, talking about the incident through a window of someone's home. I remembered to cast Pain on Sammy before paying attention to it ( it trained my magic).

"Recently the world has changed. Guns aren't working. The police can't protect us. The military is undergoing special training before deploying to help us. We. Are. Alone. Those of you out there with the abilities to help one another, help each other!  Hunker down and survive! The big cities have undergone major changes, and people have begun forming groups of people with abilities as 'Guilds' to survive and clear the infestations of monsters. Portals which bring these Monsters out must be cleared, before more come! They don't come out if you clear them, not as far as we know! Its t-" the tv got smashed by a critter inside, but I got what I needed. Information.

Now which way to go....

"Sammy, dear, I need your password." I grinned at her.

"Ffffuck you." She muttered.

"Fff- no too long its only supposed to be 4 digits. Give me the password." I commanded as her owner.

"1322" she went back to struggling to get free.

"Thanks hun. For not immediately listening you will be punished." I cast Pain on her again. I'm getting quicker the more I cast, it only takes 10 seconds for the whole spell to be spoken now.

Her eyes slid back as she passed out from pain. I felt kind of bad, I may just kill her after tonight...

I smacked myself, I needed to stay in control and not just think those unnecessary thoughts. The more I practiced necromancy, the less I've felt in control. I knew, however, this was the way to get stronger.

I was able to once again cast Soul Theft, Sammy convulsed on the side, but my strength rose to 10, and dexterity to 11.  If I used it any sooner than every 4 hours, it had no effect. That seemed to be the cooldown time right now. Sammy got meeker as she woke back up. She was fragile now, weaker than me.

Pulling up maps we traveled for several hours, coming across several small gas stations, and smaller towns. They had nothing interesting in them, but one had a car that drove away. I didn't expect cars to work, but I also don't know if that would be the best idea to use either...

These towns had more people who survived, too, they didn't seem to be hit at all, honestly. It was like they didn't matter. Maybe their time hadn't come, but when they saw me approach they ran and screamed. It was obvious they had seen the tv.

That's fine. Let me be the villian, I thought as they took pictures of our blood-soaked brigade carrying a women tied to the back of Cy. I tried casting soul theft on Sammy again, but only my Strength rose 1 point, yet she got as small as ever. I mean she literally shrunk too, I was sure of it now. I had also gotten slightly taller overall, making up for my average height.

We made camp after 12 hours, we were just outside of the city. A giant fence had been erected around it to keep what was in the city in the city and what was out, out. The thing is, a fence doesn't do anything without people guarding it.

Without Samantha tied up, I once again committed an atrocious act that she was powerless to stop. I commanded her to never run away, and to lay there eyes open into the night. As she shrunk, and I gained nothing, I knew my revenge was paid back. She was a meek, five foot tall girl, with strength nothing greater than the weakest goblin.

When I woke up, she was begging for death. To this point she had not, asked for help or begged. I broke her, and unlike Karen I wanted to break her, intentionally too

"Ok." I smiled. "I will grant you your wish."

"Thank you" she cried.

I smashed her hand while she was lying down, enjoying the screams. I had Cy throw her over the fence, the sound of her hitting the ground from 10 feet high didn't alert anything around, but me letting her scream from the broken bones did. Orcs were lying in waiting, and saw fresh prey.

"Good girl, Sammy. Now shut up." I commanded.
