I felt blood rush to my head, and a nosebleed come on. The voices echoing off the walls made me dizzy. Was it due to the loss of blood I've had? Was it due to this hideous monster being so close to me? With my ears ringing, I tried to readjust to the area, just to feel a soft, delicate hand caress my head and cover my ear gently on the right as another hand slid over my other ear.
While shaking, I began to turn around and felt the hands tight, before beginning to yank my head back attempting to bring me into its stomach!
"N-no! No! No! ANGER! CY! HELP!" I was screaming as loud as I could, my leg trying to dig into the pile of corpses, my hands trying to hold onto anything. With so much blood on the walls my hand was slipping, a nail broke off from digging into it. I could smell the nauseous gas coming out from inside, and since everyone was preoccupied I knew, this may be it.
I tried kicking my spear to get it onto my leg, but it wasn't giving anything, the jaw of death was so close if I attempted even one more time I would be inside of this beast. I could see what looked like a giant eye from inside of its stomach. Reaching around my back, I pulled out a small dagger that I got off one of the goblins long ago and have kept with me for an emergency and started shanking the beast in the eye behind me!
"SKREEEEEEEEE!" With every stab I could tell it was hurting, the grip of its arms loosening. I reached in to try to get it one more time, but this time spikes as if like a ribcage encased my arm, piercing it!
"AGH YOU DAMN BEAST JUST DIE!"I had been able to turn around just enough that I could put my knee on the carcasses, I grabbed the head of the Groper, and chomped down with my teeth on it's throat. I may not be able to stab it without a weapon, but I would rip it to shreds! I will kill it, even if it tries killing me!" I felt a black, slimy liquid squelch into my mouth, but even wanting to vomit, the pain shooting out of my arm right now was so great that nothing would stop me.
I could see more of these beasts outside, blocked by their comrades greediness, yet waiting in line like guests to a buffet. More black slimy liquid blocked my view as it fell as if raining, and another screech began echoing as I realized something similar to a forked tongue had protruded from its face, ripping through the skin and bones that had once been where a normal human mouth would be.
I yanked backwards, taking the flesh off from its throat. I reached into the neck, and gripped the bones I could see. They were sharp, but broke easily enough as I pulled back. The beast continued howling not letting go of my arm at all. 'That's fine, though because your dead' I thought. I turned the bone around and plunged it into its head. The Groper slumped over, dead. My arm immediately was released.
I fell backwards onto my butt as I felt a sensation that was becoming more and more clear.
Level Up.
It's true a necromancer lives on the verge of death, huh? My shoulder felt slightly better, It had healed just a bit, and my right although it had been punctured, perhaps it was because of my strength, or maybe the monster was just not very strong it hadn't completely gone through my arm, but it was more as if I had put it straight through a glass door, with streaks of blood coming down. I watched as it closed up just a little bit.
I felt the dizziness yet again as more Gropers came to the door. They didn't seem capable of climbing over the wall, but the longer it drags on who knows if this is the worse to come?
I sat down just off to the side as the orcs took over the door again, able to fight since I was out of the way of them stabbing. My experience was constantly rising and thankfully the orcs were tall enough with the spears that only two had been destroyed with very little enemies making it over the wall so far, only one had when the goblin faked being dead.
"Stats" I immediately put the points into Control, although I know I need more strength myself, right now this is a numbers game.

My mana regenerated slightly due to leveling up, I immediately raised the Groper back to life. I'm unsure how strong it actually its, but If I'm lucky like with the goblins they won't immediately recognize it as their enemy and attack it. I then raised back 3 goblins who hopefully can fit through the door way and attack the other Gropers at the least. Bodies were piling all around me, once again I knew it was time for me to stop fighting directly and to help out either by moving the bodies or to find some way to regenerate mana.
As if heeding to my unspoken command, Anger with his shield lifted it above my head, as if to make sure nothing interrupted me.
"Sir. I. Protect." I was stunned, I knew he could speak basic language but since resurrecting him, these were the first words he had spoken directly to me. Were my minions becoming smarter, closer to how they were before their death, as they gained experience along with me? I didn't have time to look into it.
"New goblins! Pull the bodies of the other dead goblin and dispers to my left side to help protect me then protect me!! Anger Protect me!" I hoped that Basic Command would let me do that with the goblins, and they seemed to understand enough as there were so many bodies the other gropers were having to literally poke their head in, or some poor goblins were having to climb in, just to immediately be cut down by the orcs and my protection staff that it was becoming safer? I smiled.
I pulled out the book I learned my spells in before, and although I call it a book, I never could be specific with what it was because I had no idea really what it was. Originally, most of the book was messy, random glyphs or writings, ramblings. It was at this point I finally was able to even see the name of it.
"Tome of Damnation" I guess I could no longer call it a book huh? Flipping through the book quickly I could see very little information more being revealed, but the first few pages now rather then random pages throughout were opened up for me to read.
It's been about a week since everything went down, maybe even a week now as I see the system even removed more words from the stats window regarding the synchronization, and I already screwed myself if I don't find a way to prolong the fight until either leveling up again, or the night ends.
Thank god the nights half over.
