Shiraya waited patiently at the table, looking out the window at the glistening stars, until finally you showed up.
" Ah! Shira! I'm sorry I'm so late, I lost track of time! " You said nervously, causing Shiraya to giggle a little
" Oh [Y/N], you have nothing to worry about "
She glanced over to you, a cheeky smile on her face.
" It's nothing I'm not used to " dae laughed.
I laughed too, she was right though. Being late has become a bit of a ritual at this point.

We sat down at the table for a while, talking about all types of things, telling awful jokes and laughing about the struggle there was trying to arrange this, knowing Shiraya's son, Pheonix, despised the whole situation. Eventually a waitress came out direction with our food, and we calmed down the chitter as we ate.

I looked out the window, admiring the beautiful stars out.
" We really did choose the perfect night for this, the stars look beautiful today " I said.
" Indeed they do, but I can see one thing more than five times as stunning. " She said in her classic flirty voice "and I'm looking right at them~"

As per usual, I was caught off guard. Near choking on my food, it laughed.
"Classic [Y/N], always so easy to fluster. "
" Easy for you to say, Madam Flirts-a-lot. "
I groaned.

While I was looking away, cleaning something spilt on my shirt, Shiraya leaned over the table and lightly kissed my face, once again, leaving me an absolute mess.

" I wouldn't have you any other way, my rose " dae chuckled, watching me attempt to process what just happened.

Time passed, and we were packing up.

" Tonight was a lot of fun, we really need to do this more often, wouldn't you say? "
I nodded, it has been a while since we caught up. We've been dating for a while though, circumstances are just difficult unfortunately.

Nervously, I coughed out a question.
" Would you- er.... Would you like me to accompany home? "
I screamed at myself mentally, what kind of corny bullshit is coming out of my mouth right now and why is it coming out of my mouth. As a response, Shiraya laughed
" I would be ever so grateful, Doll "

The sound of her laughter was everything to me. The way her hair bounces to the motion, her soothing yet at the same time rough voice, it was heavenly.

As we traveled towards Shiraya's house, I kept catching myself in her eyes. For a while she hasn't noticed, but she took her chance when she did.
" Oh deary me, distracting you again, my dear? You seem to be staring again "
" Oh!! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to stare "
" Ah, nono..it's fine, [Y/N]~! "

After moments of bliss, we had arrived.
" Well, that's it for tonight. I'll see you some time soon? "
" You can stay the night, if you wish "
She replied, seemingly eager to have me stay.
" B-but, your son-? "
" Don't mind kit, he's away for the night away "
" Well in that case "

I stood, smiling.

" I'll stay, just for tonight "
