Angelo

The time of midnight came quickly. The day of cuddling was relaxing me to the brim. Preston is still nervous about going on a mission again. He dresses in a black suit that leaves little to the imagination. I hold him close to me as he’s tying his tie. My left hand goes to the laced portion of the suit. The see-through fabric is buttoned down by my right hand.

“You won’t tell me to change will you?” He asked, looking at his shoulder. His gloved hands stay by his side, never leaving to touch me.

“I would never.” I press a kiss to his shoulder. Both of my hands rub his stomach, ribs, and chest.

“Merely giving a suggestion.” He takes his eyes off the shoulder I’m kissing and meets my eyes.

“And what would that be?” Playing innocent. That’s his move.

“This fabric is highly flammable.” I say with my hands going up his laced arm to hold his hand.

“The shirt is tight. Restricts your movement.” I explain shifting his body an inch to the right.

“That was with it unbuttoned. I know you can fight but with you in this I'd fight your battles and you wouldn’t like me to do that.” I press a kiss to his hand. He sighs and drops his hand.

“You look gorgeous though. Let me help you this time.” I say taking him to my side of the closet I store the mission clothes in. His eyes darted to a deep red spandex shirt the moment we got in. I grabbed the hanger and handed it to him.

“What will you do about the bullets?” I asked him. He looks like a disappointed child.

“I didn’t say put it back. We may need back up clothes.” I remind him. He smiles and puts the clothing on his wrist.

Eventually we found an outfit. He came out wearing a spandex shirt over a bullet proof vest tucked into flowy red and white flower print pants. Of course they aren’t flammable.(I wouldn’t have allowed that) I love nylon. He took the last part out of his own closet. Very fitting for the mission. I’m very simply dressed. Just a black suit and maroon dress shirt.

“What exactly is the mission?” Preston asked as I’m putting my weapons in my pockets.

“Weren’t you listening to the debrief?” I asked, making the explosives look natural.

“Yes.” He said, striding over to the velvet cushion in the middle of the closet.

“But for arguments sake let's say I didn’t.” He said. I sighed and sat next to him.

“There is a suitcase with information about a possible double coin. We need to get the case swiftly and leave without getting caught.” I explain wrapping my arm around him.

“What’s a double coin?” He questioned.

“You really weren’t paying attention. Were you?” He shook his head no.

“I heard about the salsa dance club and I was gone from then on.” He explained snuggling closer to my body. I sighed again and played with one of his fingers.

“A double coin is a backstabber that could potentially cause the gang to go under. Or, it could give a big boost to us and could lift us up. Which is why it’s a double coin. It could be one or the other.” I explained. He nodded along.

“So what's the plan to make the mission successful?” He asked.

“We plan that in the car.” I say pecking his forehead and pulling us both up.
