"i didn't say it did, i just want to know my partner a little better."

"let's just work on the project," she got out one fo the muggle pens hermione had gotten her. penny was skeptic at first, but they turned out to be very efficient.

"i just want to get to know you more." at her silence, he continued, "i mean i know you intimately, but do i really know penelope at her core?"

"no."

"exactly!" he began to pace in front of his desk, "i just think it could be very beneficial for our project."

"a research paper? about the process of becoming an animagus? oh, definitely!" she rolled her eyes

cormac ignored her sarcasm, "aren't some of your family members animagi? your dad was the one everyone thought was the grim, was he not?"

"still don't see what this has to do with the project."

he finally stopped his pacing in place of staring at her.

"fine," he pursed his lips, "let's just work on the project."

"excellent idea."
