Despite my sense of pride in myself, i knew the boys would most likely have a different opinion on the matter. And as soon as i sat down in that plastic chair, i already saw the principal pick up his phone threw the window to his office. And odds are he was calling them.
Not that i could blame the boys for being upset, they would only get the second part of the story, the part where i was the bad guy. The messed up girl who flipped and attacked a poor defenseless kid. Ha. wrong. No one would ever admit to the true story. Every kid was too afraid of him. Heck, i was afraid of him. I can't blame the other kids for not stepping in, i can see where they're coming from, but if it were me, i wouldn't be able to stand by and watch some punk beat up someone else.
The dark door slowly opened. A feeling of dread poured into my stomach as the principal emerged from it. He said nothing, merely beconned me over with his pointer finger. I said and stood up, slowly making my way over, gripping my side from the pain in my ribs.
He let me pass him, and gave me a dirty look as he did. The principal was a middle aged man. Dark graying hair. A slight bad spot in the middle. Brown calculating eyes. He went by the name of Tucker. See, principal Tucker was known for absolutely nothing. He did literally nothing for any type of good for the school, merely handed out punishments, and left his problems for others when they needed to be adressed. He sat and I sighed and took a seat as well in one of the chairs across from his own, a mahogany desk dividing us. Sighing heavily, he threaded his fingers together and placed them down onto the table.
"Would you like to tell me what happened out there Ms. Tomlinson?" He asked me through narrowed eyes, seeming weary.
I sighed and thought about my options. I could go with the lie, make something up and say i attacked Blake first. Or... i could tell him about the bullying. Now, some of you may think this is a simple choice, of course i should tell him the truth right? Wrong. Because then, he would tell the boys. Then Blake would get in trouble, and he would hurt me twice as much.
I slowly shook my head and quietly responded, "I'm not sure what you want me to say."
"I want you to explain to me why you attacked your fellow student."
I sighed, "He attacked my friend."
He raised an eyebrow, "Why?"
"She angered him." I merely stating, not giving him the details he craved.
He shook his head, "start from the beginning."
I sighed and opened my mouth to reply, but before i could, the door was swinging open. A loud thud emerged from the doorway as Louis swung it open.
I jumped and whirled around. Anger that's the first thing i noticed. It was written all over his face. His eyebrows pulled together in confusion. His normally bright blue eyes light and warm, now dark blue and closed off. His shoulders tensed and jaw clenched. Taking long and hard strides.
His eyes met mine and i could literally feel the disapointment roll off of him. He walked over to my Principal Tucker and shook his head, "Louis Tomlinson." He stated, sitting down in the seat next to mine.
"Now, when you called, you said Emily got into a fight?" He started off, getting straight to the point.
Mr.Tucker nodded, "That's about as much as i know, i was just asking Emily what happened."
I sighed, "Well... what happened... was that... um.. my friend Abby, um, they got into an arguement... and he.. um, i thought, he was going to hurt her.. so i...attacked him."
Mr. Tucker raised an eyebrow, "You don't seem to sure about that."
"I am." I nodded.
He sighed, "I'm going to need to speak to the other students involved Mr. Tomlinson. I'll give you a call with the verdict. You should take Emily home for the day."
