"I live a double life, it's hard to keep track."
Music blasted in a small dinky looking bar full of sad lonely people or dumb teenagers who managed to make there way in here. People gathered around the stage either drunk out there mind or actually found the band actually interesting.
"Sometimes I'm a rockstar, and sometimes I'm selling snacks."
Either way Amity didn't care if there was a crowd or not, this was just a thing she did purely for fun. At least she thinks so, in reality it's just a way to get her frustrations out and a way to maybe be rebellious in her life.
"One week I am home, one week I'm on tour."
She doesn't know why she added the last part, she's never been on tour, but hey it rhymes?. She's always home unless it's tonight, she likes playing anywhere where people would let her. Maybe she'll actually get a huge gig somewhere and get out of this horrible town and forget everyone and everything. But you can't tell the future so she'll wait until it's time.
"But you'll for sure see me,Runnin' out the door."
She finishes the song, people cheer drunkenly or clap. She breathes hard looking into the crowd while a smile plastered on her face. She hasn't figured what to call her band yet but she will soon, she thanks the people and gets off the stage.
She's a little sweaty but she doesn't really care, it's the first time there were more than three people watching her perform. Sure maybe there were only three more people but hey you gotta start somewhere. She goes into the back of the bar where most performers get ready as she puts the guitar down she borrowed from the manager who was nice enough to let her use it.
Her parents would never allow her to have such a thing, they would probably say something along the lines of "anything other than classical music is for amateurs, I will not have you listening to such things." She didn't listen obviously because she loves the way she can scream into the mic without looking crazy in front of a bunch of people. She's been keeping this secret from her parents for over two years and she doesn't know how she managed to hide it from her parents without getting caught.
Luck? Maybe she thinks. As she walks out of the little bar, it's midnight of course because there's no way she could get away with her little secret during the middle of the day. She could take her car her parents got her on sixteenth birthday but it's way too loud to sneak out in the middle of the night, so she takes a bike. It's a crappy bike but it's not loud like an engine, and it gets the job done.
As she walks to a bush at the back of the building she finds her bike where she left it, she pulls it out the bush, she would get a bike lock but it's way easier to just hide it in the back. She gets on the bike and starts peddling into the town, it's midnight so not many people are out. Except for some stragglers and people who walked the streets, she bikes on the road as there's no cars anyways.
She lives in a little town called boonesborough somewhere in Colorado, it's surrounded by mountains, rivers and pretty much anything out in the wilderness. She doesn't know why her parents chose to live here, there wasn't anything interesting about this town but she does know her family owned the town for generations.
Her house is not in the town but somewhere a little farther away into the woods, she gets more closer to the point where she can see the driveway and the big annoyed building that could hole 3 families inside. She bikes into the driveway as she gets off the bikes and leads into the back where she picks up the bike and places it into a shed. The lights are off as her family sleeps but she already knows her siblings are awake as some lights are on, it's a two story mansion and her room is on the second floor in the back, usually she would just climb on the trellis but her parents decided to take it off for renovations so she had no other choice but to text her siblings.
Come get me
She texts her older sister as she knows her brother won't text back as he always stays up late playing games with his friends online. She waits for a few moments until she gets a text message.
You owe me
She rolls her eyes as she looks at her screen, she hears the back door open and sees her older sibling standing by the door with a knowing grin. She tucks her phone back into her pocket and begins to walk to the door hoping her sister would leave her alone. But of course she wouldn't.
"You know mittens, you should be more quiet when you're coming back," Emira said as she watched her. She rolled eyes as she walked past her, "I always am," she said walking quietly upstairs where she left her older sister.
She walked into her room, it was fairly big, she had a queen size bed in the middle of the room where two windows sat beside it. The walls were white and she had a big white rug in front of her bed, a desk and mirror were on the side and a record player layer beside the desk. She had a giant closet filled with clothes and shoes, she had her own personal bathroom which she was grateful for.
She sighs as she sits on the edge of the bed where she takes off her boots, she walks over to her closet and picks out shorts and a tank top to sleep comfortably in. She does her normal night routine which consists of washing off her makeup and brushing her teeth, even if it's one am. After doing her routine she plugs her phone in on the desk and walks over to her bed where she flops onto the covers. She yawns before she goes under the cover where she passes out instantly.
Not sure if I'm gonna continue or not, but I'll try. Anyways all of the songs are mostly gonna be from a band called "Destroy boys." Personally I think beta amity would sound just like the lead singer. Also I am the author of "my light - Lumity" my old user was Dumbbumkid12351 or something like that's (sorry I couldn't finish my other fic)
